  1. Drooling blood sounds like a reason to get further medical attention
  2. Well, they are the leading member of the alliance, for direct spending they put in 22% of a pretty small budget. The complaints about defense spending in general seems like something to drum up purchasers for arms companies more than anything. 😛
  3. https://undocs.org/en/a/res/70/245 At least for UN seems based on gross income, debt load, caps off at 22% of the UN budget. WHO has voluntary payments as well.
  4. And still owe ~$180MM 😛
  5. Whatever it takes to keep Liverpool from winning a Premier League. Better to nuke Anfield. Just to be safe.
  6. Sure seems to be the issue most Americans have, although it seems off the mark especially with the UN where they are elite of the group, heh. But no need to do away with the WHO and leave nothing there, as was my original point to GD, just have to pick a US/West stooge. Hm, wonder how involved the US was with picking a candidate for the WHO director last time - I guess they'd have backed the British doctor.
  7. It's not an ad hominem, just that over the years I can reliably count on them to cry down any international body (when they complain about the UN, they or any of the Permanent 5 doing that is somewhat funny) or aid effort. As for the WHO I can see how they failed I can see the point, but how have they betrayed the US ? It'll be funny at least to see what reforms Pomepo and Trump will come up with that will make the WHO better.
  8. Did you check the dishwasher?

  10. This is what happens when your dad didn't love you enough. 😛
  11. Odd comparison, but it's like how UNICEF or the UNHCR is a good idea. Then again, I forget this is dealing with Americans.
  12. Why though ? The idea of the WHO is a good one, no ? Huh, the US in arrears with its payments as well. I guess that shouldn't come as a surprise.
  13. https://the-avocado.org/2018/03/28/an-incomplete-history-of-the-akira-bike-slide/ Didn't think it was that commonly referenced.
  14. From Americans online, shouldn't come as a shock 😛
  15. So the US halting funding to the WHO - https://www.axios.com/trump-world-health-organization-funding-65de2595-2d5e-4a6c-b7c6-9c18aa4cb905.html? Presumably until a US stooge is appointed, I am guessing.
  16. They'd still hunt you down, theft like that is a serious issue when you're little people.
  17. You've got upper management written all over you, buddy.
  18. Freespace 2. Better story than Wing Commander. 😛 X-Wing Alliance is also good, shame we never got a TIE Fighter sequel out of that though. Still mucking through Surviving Mars here, playing as a European oligarch now - previous game had a map with no rare earth and barely any metals, so funding became a critical issue.
  19. This man over here, officer.
  20. Just a bandana won't do that, need to have leather jackets missing random parts and some sort of spikes and skull iconography. China sure blew their opportunity to win some favour back with all the defective PPE they've been sending, although in some cases not sure if it's defective as in they are useless or just recipients having stricter standards in all cases.
  21. I guess they need the money back?
  22. I am so shocked to read that from the Telegraph.
  23. Yes, like purgatory. Or Hell.
