  1. A protocol isn't them turning off their brains, but in the context of having to announce their presence, I don't see what is lost by having to do so when raiding a suspected drug storage area. Entering an unknown house is what they get all the training and fancy kit for, after all. Why not have SWAT carry out EVERY search warrant. You never know, after all.
  2. Something else to lay at the feet of the "war" on drugs.
  3. Well, seems strange for the police to request a warrant and not know what the situation is. And yes, you can have protocols for one situation, narrow is not bad. Then again, this is the cops so they can just knock very softly and then storm the place so is a moot point.
  4. Be sure to play the multiplayer.
  5. Then leave hostage situations out of it, that was what they were there for originally. As for gang related raids, they can still nab the people and not get killed - SWAT are trained for a reason.
  6. Police fail to realize the benefits to society of their job being hard to do.
  7. Impressed by Epic's engineers. Hm, I guess game's disk footprints are going to be colossal.
  8. https://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local/men-who-escorted-out-of-target-for-not-wearing-face-masks-idd-in-attack-on-store-employee/2360527/ Sure hope it was worth the felony charge.
  9. Well then you see how much a .NET expert I am ! 😛 Actually did learn that last week, I guess it didn't stick, will have to see if I could have used that somehow. I'm just glad my code didn't get rejected because my spacing was too much or, God forbid, I put comments.
  10. It's not unique to the public sector, my private sector firm is the same way. BS jobs are in all sectors.
  11. Cop regulations are laws now ? As for it being unfair and strict, heh, well such is the life of a non-civilian, I'm sure military personnel have to put up with worse. Also, wasn't being entirely serious, I guess I needed to telegraph that more.
  12. People looking to pawn work off on others rather than slog through it. Is a huge problem on my team, cowardice.
  13. Hah, well anything that gets them to not look like some wannabe badass. Maybe it could help internalize that they too are normal people.
  14. Well, not all cops are murderers. They do all seem to be douchebags. Good start to change that would be to ban shades and shaven heads.
  15. Apparently because I can add null checking in a module, I am a .NET expert. I sense my company is desperate for any competency.
  16. I'll wait until they release some evidence that the woman was not a nice person, ergo her getting shot was no big deal.
  17. The ChiComs are just using this to commit white genocide.
  18. Better call the electrician back, he messed up your posts.
  19. I think I got the pack with all the DLCs. Paradox seems to love putting radio stations as paid DLCs, this and CIties Skylines have those.
  20. BL2's The Heavy was much better, I found
  21. He watched Band of Brothers recently, I am guessing.
  22. Got myself some wonders in Surviving Mars, so I think I've won the game. I say this to avoid the impending collapse when my hordes of unspecialized middle aged colonists die off en masse (not sure why I never bothered to make universities). Will at least muck about with the terraforming before I bail.
