  1. Tucker wouldn't be brave enough to stand up, though.
  2. US allies (no need for the scare quotes, unless you think allies are vassals..) would definitely help out the US. Granted, I'd hope you cutting your military a blank cheque would mean it'd perform well enough that it wouldn't be a breaking point. You Americans getting to experience a war first hand would be educational, though. As for saving money leaving Europe, you're joking about defense spending going down, right ? Aside, what's with people trying to portray 2l3374U as a Putin apologist or on Russia's side here ?
  3. Well...that is how school worked, really. Good preparation for adult life
  4. Decided by a Trump appointee ?
  5. Probably going to be facing a lot of S-400s that way.
  6. Wonder how much use they would be though, haven't really seen much of what Russia's SAM coverage is or anything other than Buks getting droned here and there.
  7. Come on. The Russians only shot them once.
  8. Why not ? Civilians and soldiers don't mix.
  9. Yeah, not sure why the gunner did that, the vehicle halted after he blew a tree up, not as if they were rushing the convoy. Why using the cannon as a warning shot is also puzzling (although I guess that does get attention..). Poor training or jumpiness, happens a lot.
  10. Because we need a laugh about this - https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/mar/06/poutine-not-putin-classic-quebec-dish-under-fire-in-france People are ****ing stupid.
  11. Probably chose a subset of those actually making a difference - sending aid and such to Ukraine. Then again - https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/3/8/russia-deals-with-unfriendly-countries-require-moscow-approval "The list follows a presidential decree on March 5 allowing the Russian government, companies and citizens to temporarily pay foreign currency debts owed to overseas creditors from “unfriendly countries” in roubles."
  12. The "I am dark skinned and bald. So I hate you. And I hate Jesus" line will always be with me.
  13. Another Russian General killed, apparently.
  14. Way to narc on the thread. Going for an unsubtle approach in Cyberpunk, Assault RIfle / SMGs. Sure does get the fixers bitching at me for not being elegant or whatever. Will keep on this until the new Syberia launches.
  15. https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/britain-may-ease-immigration-rules-ukrainian-refugees-sun-2022-03-07/ Well, waving the flag will help I guess.
  16. He's not suggesting that though. In any case, bit of a delay - https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-03-07/some-eu-nations-balk-at-push-to-advance-ukraine-s-membership-bid
  17. 95% of the forces they positioned, not 95% of the entire Russian army.
  18. Well for Napoleon, the plan was to draw him into Russia, with scorched earth tactics to wear Le Grand Armee down. Forget who had the idea, but pretty sure it was neither Barclay or Bagrarion. It did a decent enough job, by the time he reached Moscow they'd lost a lot. There's Minard's famous chart about it. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Minard.png Not the greatest idea to march into a 500 km salient. Wonder how things would have gone if they didn't escape Berezina.
  19. Depends on who's attacking I guess, NATO storming into Russia is going to encounter more motivated troops than what we see here. As for the convoy, Ukraine already has such batteries though. They were supposedly pounding the convoy with it, I guess they still are.
  20. Hey, man, that's my laptop right now. But yes the sticker's a bit too on the nose.
