  1. Friend mentioned he was playing DAoC, I recall a lot of friends loved that game back in 2001 or so, so giving that a go. Is a bit awkward to go to a pre-WoW MMORPG given I've never played one, hah. Also noticed there's a revived WH:O as well, may try that sometime.
  2. I generally think you don't trust anything called Pravda. Sort of like how if a country has "Democratic" in their official name...
  3. Which is fine, they don't owe Ukraine a thing, so not like some betrayal or anything despite whatever Melnyk used to spew about. https://www.rferl.org/a/chechnya-kadyrov-indefinite-break-speculation/32017103.html So Kadyrov's taking a break, wonder where he's off to.
  4. Not sure they need much redemption in the first place.
  5. After getting some games that weren't worth the $0 price, I think about wasting the energy of clicking.
  6. Will be interesting to see how it works out, anyway. And how broad the "coalition" they are referring to actually is.
  7. Guess they'll have to find some way to threaten or bribe India.
  8. Nah, I think Serbs, like all Bad Slavs are genetically predisposed for totalitarianism.
  9. Ah yes, ATACMS. But with the HIMARS they're doing well, the Kherson offensive's going swimmingly from what I see, TB-2s operating there with ease - I guess Russian air defense has been weakened enough. Holding back weaponry when you're not sure they are going to hold or not is sensible, though, these things can't exactly get FedExed right. And at least for non-US countries, donating expensive kit in advance is a bit risky. Interestingly in the northern area, I had read that artillery did more work than the Javelin/NLAW/TB2 stuff, will have to look that up.
  10. Didn't really pick up on much underestimation but the idea that overestimating them is holding aid back is a funny one, although not sure what weapons he's talking about that Ukraine needs but isn't getting (not quite Massaro-esque idiocy where every nation must scream Slava Ukraini and strip their military bare, at least ).
  11. Well, and also forgot, the more scared he makes people the more funding he'll get
  12. Nah, at worst is trying to remind people Russia's 6 feet tall, not 12 or 3. Need to follow the news better, was wondering how Melnyk would get outraged over with this, but they fired him in July.
  13. Finished off the movie night in Andromeda, that was funny enough. Shame not more stuff to do with crew. Playing D3, the angelic crucible gave me a fun gimmick - I can strafe and spray multishot everywhere. Moves far slower than GoD, but still hits pretty hard.
  14. Why would auctioning the house never be ideal ? Pretty sure in Toronto, for example, they'd net back more than the mortgage's value.
  15. https://www.reuters.com/world/dont-underestimate-russias-military-strength-german-defence-chief-warns-2022-08-31/ Interesting timing for him to say that.
  16. Gorbachev - https://www.reuters.com/world/mikhail-gorbachev-who-ended-cold-war-dies-aged-92-agencies-2022-08-30/
  17. I am surprised they're not selling more merchandise
  18. A good indicator of how stupid young men were back then
  19. I had thought her long term plan was to be in the US
  20. Shame she's planning to leave, was interesting to see things about Khabarovsk and the east part of Russia. If she ends up in the US, not much point watching.
