Didn't Feargus say that it was a change at the head of Disney which brought about the cancellation? I would imagine that Epic Mickey was just too far into development or already too publicized to disappear entirely.

That's the guy with the handle Comte de Saint-Germain, right? -
class restricted encounters/areas
Sannom replied to Failion's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
No, the class-based content would obviously be linked to the class of the main character, not the class of any of the companions, be they be NPCs or mercenaries created by the player. -
@Darth Trethon : Also stop writing like a stoner speaks. It's annoying.

You can't really say that. We funded a Infinity Engine-inspired game, and those games had some really nice graphics in some areas, the Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale series had very good background decors, and Planescape : Torment had custom models for all companions, very flashy spell effects, and it sacrificied combat gameplay and a proved-and-true user interface for all of this.

Reminder to Obsidian : you were supposed to update the topic of update #19 with any new swag added to each bid level, and so far the Almanach isn't in there. Other than that : great update!

I don't think it is possible. Add-ons are already a makeshift feature that does not inspire confidence, but it becomes worse when the add-on can see its price vary depending on the client (talking about international shipping fee). You still help fund the game and when you actually buy the expansion, you will still have spent less money than the people who chose a pledge with the expansion.

Did someone try to install the Restored Content patch on the Steam version of KOTOR 2? Does is work?

All I'm shown is a database error, wrong link?

Not necessarily. The case that was judged was very specific : an unlimited licence that could be applied to a software which was otherwise completely free to download. You have to pay the game before downloading it with Steam. And they could bypass it by limiting the licence's duration, even if extend it is free.

Well would you look at that, they put Nicole in the game! Must be nice to work with characters models so simple! -
If that is Nolan North (I've actually no idea) why didn't he use his Heck voice ?

That article uses bits and informations that we already knew, I'm not sure everything they're saying here is factually correct. For example, I'm pretty sure a number of the layoffs were a consequence of the Next-Gen project being cancelled, not the other way around.

It's not an official announcement or anything, so I don't think we can jump the gun on that right now. -
I'm pretty sure that David Gaider is not a designer, but a writer. He was perhaps Lead Writer, but I don't think he was Lead Designer (that would be Mike Laidlaw, right?).

Best time to play Treasures of the Sun?
Sannom replied to GhostofAnakin's topic in Dungeon Siege III: General Discussion
I don't know if it scales, but I know I had a hard time beating some of the enemies with a level 30 character. Granted, it was Lucas and I have a harder time with him, but still, it was harsh. Especially one boss that seemed to regenerate health faster than I could inflict damage. -

After you leave Stonebridge, you won't be able to access the DLC until you finish the penultimate dungeon. You will have one last chance after that, and if you don't take it, you won't be able to access it at all. The game makes a save called 'End Game Save' for each character at the point of no return, so if you miss it, you should be able to come back to that save.
