About Seven Dwarfs by Kevin D. Saunders
Didn't Feargus say that it was a change at the head of Disney which brought about the cancellation? I would imagine that Epic Mickey was just too far into development or already too publicized to disappear entirely.

That's the guy with the handle Comte de Saint-Germain, right?

NEW INTERVIEW: Feargus Urquhart Message to the Fans and Update
What was so awful about it?
-
class restricted encounters/areas
No, the class-based content would obviously be linked to the class of the main character, not the class of any of the companions, be they be NPCs or mercenaries created by the player.

Tony Evans leaving Obsidian for BioWare
@Darth Trethon : Also stop writing like a stoner speaks. It's annoying.

Talking about graphics = missing the point?
You can't really say that. We funded a Infinity Engine-inspired game, and those games had some really nice graphics in some areas, the Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale series had very good background decors, and Planescape : Torment had custom models for all companions, very flashy spell effects, and it sacrificied combat gameplay and a proved-and-true user interface for all of this.

Update #17: Brian Fargo from inXile Kicks In, Obsidian Kicks it Forward, New $165 Tier, and Expansion
I don't think it is possible. Add-ons are already a makeshift feature that does not inspire confidence, but it becomes worse when the add-on can see its price vary depending on the client (talking about international shipping fee). You still help fund the game and when you actually buy the expansion, you will still have spent less money than the people who chose a pledge with the expansion.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS!
Did someone try to install the Restored Content patch on the Steam version of KOTOR 2? Does is work?

Today's patch
All I'm shown is a database error, wrong link?
-
RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!
Not necessarily. The case that was judged was very specific : an unlimited licence that could be applied to a software which was otherwise completely free to download. You have to pay the game before downloading it with Steam. And they could bypass it by limiting the licence's duration, even if extend it is free.

SP:TSoT at Comic-Con
Well would you look at that, they put Nicole in the game! Must be nice to work with characters models so simple!

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!
If that is Nolan North (I've actually no idea) why didn't he use his Heck voice ?

Layoff hits Obsidian?
That article uses bits and informations that we already knew, I'm not sure everything they're saying here is factually correct. For example, I'm pretty sure a number of the layoffs were a consequence of the Next-Gen project being cancelled, not the other way around.

South Park needs to sell 2 Mil. copies to break even? What?
The protagonist's dialogs won't be voiced, I doubt that the other characters will be silent.
-
Obsidian currently working on next-gen console title
It's not an official announcement or anything, so I don't think we can jump the gun on that right now.

South Park: The Stick of Truth E3 Official Trailer
That's quite the growth spurt, Clyde. And why so mad?

THQ to show off South Park at Xbox E3 briefing (June 4)?
It looks like Kenny will be an actual princess, complete with her knights protecting her from an alliance of the Devil and the Christmas critters on one side, and an alliance of Underpants Gnomes and Mongolians on the other side. Also, Cartman being Cartman and Kyle being Kyle.

Chris Avellone inteview at Gamestar.ru
I'm pretty sure that David Gaider is not a designer, but a writer. He was perhaps Lead Writer, but I don't think he was Lead Designer (that would be Mike Laidlaw, right?).
-
Justin Cherry also left Obsidian
Fargo : "Can we have Chris?" Feargus : "Which one? That's three-fifth of the board." Fargo : "Avellone." Feargus : "Who would you give in exchange?"

South Park: The Game Becomes South Park: The Stick of Truth
True. However, I think that the people who know better than to trust a franchise cash-in are also the people more likely to know when one such product is worthy of their attention.

South Park: The Game Becomes South Park: The Stick of Truth
We are bound to receive some actual information on the game soon, right? After this and the pre-order thing, it would be time for THQ and Obsidian to show off their game a little more.

Best time to play Treasures of the Sun?
I don't know if it scales, but I know I had a hard time beating some of the enemies with a level 30 character. Granted, it was Lucas and I have a harder time with him, but still, it was harsh. Especially one boss that seemed to regenerate health faster than I could inflict damage.

Best time to play Treasures of the Sun?
After you leave Stonebridge, you won't be able to access the DLC until you finish the penultimate dungeon. You will have one last chance after that, and if you don't take it, you won't be able to access it at all. The game makes a save called 'End Game Save' for each character at the point of no return, so if you miss it, you should be able to come back to that save.
