Hi! I'm sorry to hear that you've run into this issue with BURG.L and not being able to turn in a chip. The 1.1 update fixes BURG.L moving from his outpost in the Oak Lab. Patch 1.1 Isn't Downloading on Steam
The 1.1 update isn't available to all players and is currently in the PTB phase. To switch to a custom branch in the Steam client, right-click on the game from the library page and select "Properties". Among the available tabs will be the "BETAS" tab. Your beta should be listed in the dropdown menu under "Select the beta you would like to opt into:"

keep getting error/game won't start
It appears that you may be missing Microsoft Visual C++ runtime. I'll post a link below that could provide some answers. Overheating of the CPU and GPU
I recommend trying the following steps, as it seems like the game is using the integrated GPU in your processor. Open the "Nvidia Control Panel." Click "3D Settings" > "Manage 3D Settings." Click the "Program Settings" tab. On the "Global Settings tab," locate and select the "Preferred graphics processor" option. From the list, select "High-performance Nvidia Processor." Click Apply. Multiplayer completly broken - disconnects and issues of joined players
We are aware of some players having issues with MP connectivity while playing Grounded. We have not been able to reproduce every instance of this occurring in the game. Backpack glitched through map
You can recover your backpack by using the Game Repair menu and selecting Retrieve Backpack. This will transport one backpack per save/load to the Kid Case in the starting ravine.
