  1. The actual folder, search for it and then delete everything inside. EDIT: Or run something like CCleaner...
  2. Try emptying your temporary internet file(s).
  3. Sure, I'll have one up as soon as I get through Chapter Two (should be later tonight).
  4. I guess it is slightly harder, although I still don't think it's that complicated.
  5. I didn't think I got that specific, but whatever.
  6. I doubt it will impact PC sales much unless people see the videos and decide not to buy the game, although the release might occur earlier than scheduled to combat the leak.
  7. Ehe what? I'm not familiar with this "Speed Racer," is it some sort of film?
  8. Yeah, yeah, we get that you're "Random n00b: MM0RPG Defender" and you're "I want teh Kotor 3: MMORPGs Suxors," now can we move on and stop spamming the thread?
  9. I don't know if it would get you banned from Live or similar services, but there are step-by-step guides out there and I cannot think that it would be too hard to do.
  10. There was a joke thread about Mass Effect II, other then that I've not seen anything about it. Anyways, I would think the Bioware forums would be the place to ask about Mass Effect I/II.
  11. I've head of review copies being limited to a set number of installations/activations, but I have no idea if internal betas have similar protection schemes.
  12. As far as I know, this is mainly done by using security holes to insert homebrew programing that allows the DVD-drive to read burned discs (altered drivers maybe, I'm not sure off the top of my head exactly what is being installed). I have not done it personally, but it seems to work from what I've read and heard.
  13. You need to burn it to a DVD and play it on an X-box 360 - there are ways to play burned games without chipping.
  14. Not if you only make one back-up copy for personal use and do not distribute it.
  15. If I remember correctly, it's already been tried and defeated.
  16. Not always. There are now ways of playing burned DVDs on the 360 and Wii -I don't know about the PS3- without chipping the system. Just read some gaming new sites and you would have seen them mentioning these developments.
  17. That's what developers want you to think, when in reality they're not at all secure.
  18. That is very interesting. I didn't know significant piracy existed on a large scale on consoles. It's there, you just need a chipped console -and sometimes not even that- and a DVD burner. In many ways it's simpler than PC piracy.
  19. Ironically it was the 360 version that was leaked, I guess "PC piracy" must now be moving to the "unblemished" consoles...
  20. Sometimes I doubt if FRAPS is really showing the correct FPS, as it's said I'm only getting 5-10 frames per second in games that are preforming at a much higher level.
  21. I found it ran well enough, although it looked like **** in-game and was too boring to keep installed for more than a few hours. That said, I did burn the .exe to a DVD in case I feel like revisiting it later.
  22. I don't think anyone really knows for sure, although you can find dozens of theories - he's sort of similar to the Cab Driver from Bloodlines.
