I'm playing through TSLRP + DStoney's M4-78 (plus a crapload of other minor mods) just fine...
Well the M4-78 mods was designed to work with TSLRP and DStoney has already said he will release another version if they become incompatible. I doubt Team Exile bothered to do that though, as their mod is designed as a rival to the Team Gizka mod.
You are, however, no longer playing the same game and thus your old strategies must be adapted to fit the new structure.
And, most likely, it will not work with the Team Gizka beta and cause some compatibility issues.
I doubt they really could have done anything against the company, but that's not exactly relevant now as, last I heard, they are encouraging games to use it as a setting.
So? The Bible and other "holy books" are quoted in games and other media without this uproar.
If it's anything like the Bible you can copyright your translation but the "original" -whatever version that is I don't know- is in the public domain.
Also:
Off the top of my head:
Games that are definitely "10/10s."
Fallout 2
Fallout
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines*
Games that might be "10/10s."
Portal
The Witcher
Baldur's Gate II
Baldur's Gate
Planescape: Torment
Arcanum
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The Shadow of Chernobyl*
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky*
*If bugs are not taken into account.
Yeah, they probably have them but are unwilling to hand them over. In other news, I've seen pictures of people/PCs with legal Far Cry 2 DVDs (although they cannot play the game due to the DRM not allowing pre-release activations).
The problem is that Sony, especially, caved to blackmail. As long as people and conglomerations do this, they, the radical Muslims, will continue to have little bitchy-fits whenever they encounter something "offensive."
PC or 360? If the former, does it use a limited installation/activation system? If it doesn't I'm definitely going to have to buy a copy...
PC version isn't out till Monday.
Well I guess that shows how much attention, or lack there of, I pay to release dates...
