  1. But isn't that easily fixed? - you could even fiddle with your monitor settings. No... That isn't what I'm on about... Its pipey stuff, like gamma curve corrects, and normalisation of colours blah blah, basically I find it too spikey.
  2. That's very interesting but how do you suggest the governments handle the problem? Issue a immigrant per square km quota? Or maybe demand some level of language fluency after say 5 years? Two very good suggestions. I do think that they shouldn't be able to surplant entire cities, towns, and villages. That said, I believe that the conditions on immigrations should be the same as for me going to say the US, or Canada, or any country really.
  3. That video really really sucks at showing iceHancer, (first result on Youtube searching for it, not much work on my part) is much better. Also, as you can see, performance is completely ****ed up (ran much better on my rig, tho', probably due to not using the hi-res textures and FRAPS). Unsure about color saturation, I didn't really fiddle with the settings before deciding it wasn't worth it. Other than the odd looking lighting, its interesting to see the engine running with photo's for textures. Genuinely not that bad for a mod, the results looks interesting, I don't prefer it, but its interesting. Kinda uncanny valley in the same respect as LA : N was, looked kinda cool and fresh, but damn the colours seem off.
  4. Wow, that looks awful in motion. its probably due in part to the video compression. The stills look ace, but the colour saturation is screwy across both. Shows how much of an effect high texture resolution on powerful hardware can have. Not bad, considering its done by amateurs.
  5. It was the GG Allin stuff wasn't it...
  6. Multiculturalism can work, but only if there is a willingness to integrate. Some communities have, and do. Others do not even attempt to do so, and that is the problem. Specifically those of a conservative muslim background tends to result in segragation, by choice, of native and immigrant communities. In which I hold the governments of europe entirely responsible, despite the fact they're utterly uninterested in being responsible. Societies larger immigration problems stopped being about skin colour, I believe atleast, a long time ago - Its more about culture, and the lack of will shown by immigrants to adopt the culture of there new home. Here is an example: Spain is a popular destination for british people to emmagrate to, but they're often not interested in spanish culture, what they're really after is England with spanish weather. There are pleanty of communities in spain which are essencially english communities, that have no interest in spanish. Likewise, I also give you Bradford, where the exact same has happend in England, except its pakistani immigrants. They're identical, and they're wrong, and its why mass immigration is bad opposed to, steady controlled immigration. That's before you even begin with how essencially immigration strip mines developing nations of their educated citizens. I don't think multiculturalism really works, it just leads to lots of confused, frightend people. I give you the EDL.
  7. He was a funny man in his own way, I fondly remember his many arguements with Volo.
  8. It only makes sense within the context of choice. I do sometimes feel that companies do it to cause controversity.
  9. Ah, the famous "everyone knows!" argument. I hope it doesn't float at wherever you are studying. Oh please. Continue to plead ignorance at every inconvenient opportunity. Make my day. Better ignorance than wanton misrepresentation. Why not just claim apathy and be done with it.

  11. I don't want to stamp all over your point old man, but I know what life was like under Apartheid. It wasn't like that in Europe last time I checked. Nope. I just checked again. I have full franchise rights and employment possibilities. Plus a cracking stack of booze and porn. No Islamofascist nightmare just yet. Have you ever been to Bradford... ?
  12. I'm going to try that one later - see if I can get away with it, chances are they'll all gasp.
  13. Yeah and that obviously means the problem doesn't exist.
  14. Or a fascist troll
  15. Well, that gives me some hope that he's finally learnt to write over the last 10 years, because book one is a joke in the respect of prose.
  16. clearly you is looking to get our attention, but until you offer up something o' substance, you is gonna get very little consideration. we s'pose that some people is just slow learners. *shrug* HA! Good Fun! Viscosity.
  17. Its also a stupid idea, like what most banks do. I do so love the imagined concept of money, every time I look at my debts I just go... Oh they're only imagined fark 'em, and go to the pub.
  18. Looks great, but they've some nasty clipping issues with weapons, should be easy enough to fix though...
  19. Yeah, he was doing software engineering. Made himself indispensible as the key programmer for some software they developed.. then "left" the company to become a consultant.. whereupon they basically brought him right back doing exactly the same job but about double the pay scale because no-one else they had really understood or could troubleshoot it like him. I both admire the chutzpah for setting it up, but also kind of worry about the principles and ethics of the maneuver. Business ethics, fark them before they fark you. And they will... FACT!
  20. Where from? we already hinted where-from. is kinda ironic given the fact that the guy he plagiarized were at the other end o' the left-right continuum. the guy you admire simply changed the leftist language to righty. *snort* HA! Good Fun! Don't be snide. Agreeing that someone's political views might hold a grain of truth does not equate to justification of his acts. I personally think he should be shot, as his crime is great. His crime however does not discredit the work of the many conservative authors he cites and their conclusions/ideas or some of his comments (like the disgraceful position of the Danish government regarding the cartoon scandal). and why should we be other than snide? the plagiarizing momma's boy is only significant 'cause he killed children. you attribute merit 'cause you agree with his pov. if you so desire you may go ahead and empower the pathetic, cowardly and monstrous little dirt-bag who managed to create a forum for himself by means o' a body count. as for Gromnir, we will continue to be snide, derisive and dismissive. HA! Good Fun! Trolly Mc Troll Pants
  21. No they won't because 1) It didn't sell 2) it was complete and utter crap (kind of like an ugly GOW with better storytelling)
  22. Well it always depends on the road, but basically its legal here. I agree with the complaint about speed, he is driving far too fast. There is pleanty of footage of people riding in the UK doing similar things, infact, riding into oncoming traffice as you described is extremely common here on A & B roads. You have to bare in mind from my perspective, you're saying people, myself included, deserve to loose their licence for driving within the law - in another country. Hey I think loads of laws in the US are silly, I wouldn't preach that you're wrong though. I'm glad you're aware of bikers out in the world though, so many people in cars don't see bikers. Are you really sure about that? I'm having trouble finding any specific facts, but everything I am reading defines lane-splitting as moving between lanes of vehicles that are proceeding in the same direction. Filtering doesn't seem to fit the bill either. Maybe I'm having trouble finding anything about it because it is absolutely insane. These cars are moving directly towards him. I've done it with massive trucks coming the other way, I've seen it loads. Its not something I do often, but sometimes needs must. I've even seen police motorcycles do it also. At the end of the day, that dude is driving too fast, and he's an ass for that alone, he's also over a solid white line so he probably shouldn't be doing what he is doing, but I assure you, this is certainly common in the UK, but never have I seen anyone do it at that kind of speed.
