Hey, fakc I'm sorry you've run into this issue. It sounds like alt+tab is functioning correctly. Though, if you are unable to reach the desktop while the game is running, I'd suggest pressing the windows key to open the start menu. From there, you can navigate either via windows explorer or by pressing the show desktop button on the taskbar to the desktop. Failing those, if I am misunderstanding your issue or it is only happening with Outer Worlds, you can send an e-mail to our publisher, Private Division at support@privatedivision.com.
