  1. Upon Saving a game, and re-loading that save, if you had any prior equipped weapons and gliders, they stay equipped, however the lower right corner of the screen no longer shows the details of what is equipped. Normally you would see weapon details there (and key uses), as well as the glider you have equipped. See screenshots for details. re-equipping an item corrects it, and brings the equipped item part of the HUD back. Glider icon also returns after you unequip/re-equip the glider. Steam Version & Gamepass versions both
  2. I don't know if this is just me, but I am finding loading of the saved games, unbearable in the late game. I have SSD and I have no problem with area loading time (which is quick) but as soon as I initiate loading of the saved game, it needs over 2 minutes to complete! At the beginning of the game, it was quick, but as game progressed, it was getting longer and longer. I suspect it is related to the world map, as it seems to me that the more of the Deadfire world map was uncovered the longer loading time was getting. Is there something I can do about this or is this just the way it is?? Loading procedure begins with about ~60 seconds of black screen where whole system is unresponsive (for example, switching to desktop doesn't work). Then ~10 seconds of loading splash-screen where system is again responsive, then another ~60 seconds of black screen with unresponsive system. And then saved game is finally loaded. My version is Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire - Obsidian Edition from GOG with all DLCs installed, and OS is Windows 10.
  3. I can see where my save files that I was literally playing last night are (C:\Users\username\Saved Games\The Outer Worlds Windows 10\__LOCAL__), but the game won't acknowledge them at all any more. I'm guessing this because I signed in to my Xbox Live account and didn't originally start the game with that account or something? But that doesn't make sense because I only have one Game Pass, on that account. I say this because I noticed my gamertag in the bottom right corner, which I don't remember being there. Is there a way to bring these saves back? Am I just screwed and have to start all over again, even though they're right there where they should be?
  4. NOTE: The forum prevents me from uploading a .7z file, so I have changed the extension to .bmp. If you want to look at the crash dump, change the extension back to .7z. [Description of the issue] Loading of saved games, both normal and quick, results in a memory leak that will eventually cause a crash. [steps to Reproduce] Start a new game, default character, default settings. Resolution for me is 2560x1440. Save/quicksave the game as soon as it is loaded. Note the memory usage in Task Manager (or Process Explorer). Repeatedly load/quickload the game, noting how the memory footprint increases by 80 to 120 MB per load (more or less). The first load is usually a large jump in memory footprint. After around 15 loads (around 3400 MB total memory footprint) the game will no longer quicksave. The quicksave button will cause the shadows to shift, but nothing else. On the 16th load, the game fails to load and generates a crash dump (see attached file). [Expected Behaviour] Loading should use a constant amount of memory. [Other Remarks / Comments] Saving seems to have no affect on the memory footprint. Quitting to the main menu and loading a game from there does not reduce the memory footprint. 2014-08-19_174932.bmp
