What are you playing now?
Just started E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy. Haven't gotten really far yet but I noticed early on that there's a lot of skills, and the age-old RPG question of "what small handful of these will be truly useful?" came to mind. I tried to like NWN OT's plot but it was really just plain average (though the trial event was p. nice). MOTB on the other hand is a treat.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!
Well think about it if they changed a minute detail they risk the wrath of a thousand fans and FFVII fans are among the worst. Funny fact. The Translation of FFVII is so bad that it retroactivly ****ed up continuity. Plotpoints that were caused by the bad translation are now canon. I just hope that the steam version has mod support http://forums.qhimm....p?topic=11867.0 If not it'll be hacked and modded anyway, just like bloodlines.

Returning to skyrim with a few mods installed (mostly high res textures, meshes, fix-ups, small additions, etc).

The official E3 2012 thread
FF tech demo was nice, not feeling the whole quasi modern middle-eastern setting though. Concerning versus XIII, I doubt it's gonna be PS3 exclusive anymore since it's been what... six years in development [hell]? That is if SE don't just say "**** it" and cancel the project.

HBO's Game of Thrones
Loved his line to Cersei: "It must be hard for you...to be the disappointing child." Oh snap. Book ver. Cersei would have backhanded him and let fly a barrage of mockery. Her Tv counterpart seems relatively "mature", compared to the books.

Neither you nor Calax, huh. I wonder if it's a mid-atlantic area thing. My sister had to do it when she applied to LaSalle down in Philadelphia. Thanks for the luck. Yeah, so that really is a question where they want you to talk about what your philosophy/principles/vision is in terms of computer science as a field, the specific contributions you want to make, where you see yourself in relation to such things, how you strategize and plan your life and study. Because the worst thing in the world is a grad school student who doesn't love the actual act of studying that field and knows why he/she is there I appreciate the advice, but I mistyped their question. It's; How do you think a degree from us will benefit you in your academic and life goals.

Do you have to write that as part of an application for admittance? Yeah, undergraduate transfer student. Taking ~60+ credits from Community college with me. Colleges dig the whole "coming of age" story for prospective students, that's the topic for Monclair University's essay. Which I didn't find too difficult because I had enough crazy life-changing stories happen to me so I didn't have to spew any bull****. Rutgers' well thought out question sums up to be "how do you think a degree here will help you in life?". Yeah a CompSci degree from the reputable eighth oldest higher edu institute in the U.S. Oh, you guys want that as an essay?
