I guess it's the Western way to try to balance hard realism with idealism, yet they can't seem to figure it out. xD

Yes Code Vein is definitely calling to me. Once my TOW fetish dies down a bit definitely picking it up. -

While I've never been a hardcore Diablo fan by any stretch, I would say a good percentage of Diablo fans (even ones who were disappointed with Diablo 3) also enjoy games like Borderlands so I guess it's one of those 50/50 type deals.

Diablo 4 does not look half bad! But then again, after blowing a mental fuse playing Grim Dawn constantly I'm not 100% sure I could really get into it or it's inevitable offshoots.

Currently playing on Supernova and while being challenging and at times dying frequently, it really isn't all that bad, just requires added caution and planning. The fact that you can boost group stats up to 50 before laser focusing on the specific type of character you want really helps progression and weeding out what works for you and what doesn't. -
There is literally nothing in his works which specify "communistic genocide", as he primarily focuses on U.S. and NATO aggression. But hey I got an idea! Move to Israel and genocide Palestinians and Muslims and blame it on Communists, you'd fit right in!

Noam Chomsky has fully confessed (with a little added interest, I might add) to the American genocide of the Native American population so I have no idea where you're getting your facts from.
-
Noam Chomsky has been advocating for that for many decades. You can be libertarian minded AND a socialist at the same time. which brings me to @Skarpen

Yes I myself made the mistake of keeping the main story front and center on my first playthrough and once I finished it the central opinion I formulated was "phenomenal game" but "too short". On my second playthrough, however, there was so much content and quests I missed that took me by surprise, especially the companion quests which net you loads of xp on completion, that I genuinely felt stupid (I usually play as solo chars, managing companion abilities and personal abilities simultaneously annoys me). Currently am playing on the hardest difficulty as a solo character and if you actually take the time to raze through the worlds and quests, there's still a whole bunch of side content that keeps you going, even w/o companions! -
The United States took a crazy rightward turn somewhere in the mid-to-late 1970's and has been there ever since. The robber barons, financiers, Wall Street goons, and the ever lingering Military Industrial Complex (and not to mention others I will leave unannounced) have had a solid grip on general U.S. policy ever since. Bill Clinton's takeover of the Democratic Party destroyed any credible leftist opposition. As usual it's up to young people to turn out en masse to try to change course.

Millennial here absolutely digging on much of these boomer female artists who were in their prime. Take Cyndi Lauper for instance Look at the way she rolls out her lyrics and manages perfect expressions at the same time. What a woman! Chauvinism takes a back seat here.

Superb RPG?
ComradeYellow replied to imitenotbecrazy's topic in The Outer Worlds: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
The plot and the setting are very suburb and I'm not sure what you're looking for in mechanics seeing as how I had a blast tinkering with the right combination of skills and attributes. It's almost like you want a PnP RPG. -
Looks fantastic at first glance but I kinda get the impression gameplay may bit a too nuanced for my liking.

Trump is a racist and a sexist and a fascist lite but trying to break from bipartisn foreign policy norm is actually a plus in his favor.....but then Democrats ruin it by trying to impeach him over it. Neoliberal capitalism and corporate seizure of the government along with with the military industrial complex and war machine sucks but as long as Americans keep getting their consumer goods en masse and voting in two parties it will remain 1945 status quo.

The Outer Worlds second playthrough (I stupidly rushed first time around) and taking my time with exploration, characters, and side quests. Everything about this game is pure gold and I'm glad we get a fresh setting that isn't post apocalyptic (Which, imo, glorifies dangerous Cold War chauvinism and racism). -
The Republican Party, which is also dangerous because it is now openly channeling racist and sexist undertones which is also a key ingredient of fascism. Two wings of the same bird.

Oldie but...Goldie?

Joe Biden is posturing as the aggressively anti-Russian/Putin candidate and is maintaining the dangerous Cold War McCarthtyist Trump = Russia narrative. If these two parties aren't stopped than we may well accept fascism as the correct evolutionary norm of neoliberalism.

Can you name another cRpg that suits your playstyle better? If so, I'll take you seriously. -

Beef up Intelligence, Perception, Temperment. Focus on Long Guns, Medical, Engineering, Determination Probably go with High Maintenance and Precision as level 2 and 4 perks, after that, dunno yet.
