  1. The death penalty for selling defective products which can kill their victims is perfectly sensible. There's the death penalty for murder, isn't there? Same thing. So, you want to kill Toyota and its employees for making bad cars, but Stalin can kill 20+ million people and that's okay? There is a difference between "having money" and "being rich." If I spend ten hours a day, working hard at my difficult job, then I certainly deserve the money I'll get. That's very different from, say, playing the stock market to "earn" that same amount. And... Where exactly do you think he got the money to buy his stock and real estate from? Pulling it out of his ass? No. he worked for it, lived it thriftily, and invested. At least they'll have a reason to do it to you. I know, trying to earn something to leave to your descendants in just so terrible. See above.
  2. FF13. Its glorious.
  3. yes, but don't tell him that; its a little beyond his comprehension that the rich aren't the devil incarnated.
  4. lol way to ignore the facts. China isn't communist! Many companies make poor long-term business decisions for short term gain, thus hurting you, the consumer! Tobacco companies purposefully suppressed the truth about its dangers for decades! Uhh... I've actually never had a Toyota, so no negative effects there... And your beloved Commies tend to blow the brains out of those who reveal the evil of their ways... When companies do that, let me know. WRONG. Being rich means that you have wildly disproportionate political influence, and are reliant on masses of poorer people's labor, stealing from their hard work for your own lazy profit. Right... My grandfather, who came to America after the Holocaust with nothing but psychological issues, and who worked his entire life to build up enough money to leave behind plenty for his descendants, was definitely lazy. Obviously. Because just sitting on you ass is the only way to make money. T.T You have fun with that, and when your beloved Commie government blows you to all hell for no reason, just remember that you brought it upon yourself.
  5. If you're stupid enough to smoke, fine; I hate hate hate smoking, but I wouldn't dare try to remove it from the economy. Car companies lose crap-tons of money in the long term from selling you defective brakes or whatever the hell it was; Toyota has undergone serious brand devaluation, and I'm sure plenty of people are going to hesitate before purchasing Toyotas. And yeah, lead paint blows, but it's from a ****ing Commie country, what do you expect? Wow, way to ignore a perspective. Ya know, being rich doesn't make you evil-- far from it. Being rich means that you (or someone related to you) did something with your life... How dare you address me as "comrade"? That's a ****ing insult, and I won't stand for it.
  6. Been plenty of other reviews to base a decision on. I go to Yahtzee for laughs, not for actual game reviews I'll base a purchase on. This. Just to be redundant.
  7. what's your field of study? Ownage. Did you get it? BTW, speaking of ownage, today is Chuck Norris' birthday.
  8. So you're still sore over KotOR II. That's fine, but there's no need to insult Obsidian like that. Yup. That's just uncalled for. Actually, the chief problem with the Fable series is that it's all gimmick, no substance. The chief problem is that Fable 2 had nothing to do with the original, which I liked.... LOL. Might, but don't. Yeah, they do.
  9. Psychonauts, you heretic. Ahh, that's it... No wonder I didn't remember it... Its rather ironic, of those, I only liked Portal.
  10. I'm playing FF13. Not a big fan of the characters yet, but I haven't had a chance to put in that many hours yet... @Zachariah-dude: Start with ME1, then go to 2. everything else on that list can wait, especially CoD.
  11. Seems innocent enough, right? Not so much. I think this is an excellent example of how anytime, anywhere, the government can overstep its boundries and mine every last detail of your life. Do you seriously think, that for example Microsoft and Google cannot trace you with even bigger accuracy, just by the things you type into google or bing search forms??? Or any other big corporation where you just filled out the registration and allowed them to install any kind of application into your computer??? And that they never oversteped it? just browse for some Google Buzz or Facebook privacy scandals... And you'll se how you and your privacy is absorbed and abused from your computer just to make more revenue for someone without you even knowing about it... In almost all of those cases, the fault lies in the user, for being careless with his computer. And google and co. can only trace trends, not users...
  12. ....and another that i will not bother with, thanks to mr. Yahtzee. If you use ZP as your main source of reviews, it doesn't seem like you'll buy very many games... I think he's only liked 3 games that he's reviewed (Bioshock, Portal, and... something else)...
  13. BTW, that shepard pic is great...

  14. The deletion of the friends list seems rather random,,, And, ohhh yeah, ME2 is ****ing great... I still prefer the first though... And I'd still rather have my goddamn k3... *deep, cleansing breath*

  15. That is the most idiotic thing I have read in ages. How, exactly, do business help you by making money? Stock. EDIT: Made it less douche-y.
  16.
  17. Those are fairly gigantic things. Roads alone require a huge amount of work and maintenance. Very true. That's why I readily admit that some government and taxes are necessary, just not to the god-awful extent we have them now.
  18. It's still a start... Just imagine the possibilities.... Portal on my laptop... Its gonna be great...
  19. Not villainizing anyone. But corporations are capable of more harm on their own than greedy individuals simply because they are well organized groups of people working in concert towards their goals. L'union fait la force and all... and often that union is used to shift responsibility from the individual. It goes without saying that they are also capable of more good, too. By your logic, then, governments can do far more harm than can corporations, and it just boils down to whose interests you prefer: those of business or those of government. I, for one, prefer business. Why would you rather trust a business, whose main interest is to make money, than a government, whose main interest is to serve the people it governs? When businesses make money, they help me. Government doesn't, for the most part. And by "for the most part" I mean everything other than roads, cops, and the military.
  20. Oh my God that is so wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong! This.
