  1. Mao is responsible for the emancipation of the Chinese people from Japanese imperialism and Nationalist military dictatorship. Stalin is responsible for mass industrialization and victory in the Second World War. Their successes outweigh their "crimes." That's just illogical. If either Stalin or Mao had become mass murderers in their attempt to free their nations or whatever in the hell it was you said in a futile effort to defend them, then you might have a semblance of an argument. As it stands, Mao and Stalin killed all those craptons of people, and nothing they did could ever be worth that amount of corpses.
  2. Even China admits that Mao killed at least 45 million, so its probably double that... And he's not one of the 10 worst dictators... Oh no, he was all beneficial and loving... And Stalin did in at least 20 million, and some estimates say double or triple that... But no, he's not there...
  3. I read the greatest comment I've even seen/ original? Not at all. But hilarious nonetheless.
  4. I'm sure Stalin and Mao wouldn't be on there, seing as though he pretends they weren't evil.
  5. My squad is comprised of my 2 favorites: Mordin and Grunt. They both kick ass and both are friggin' great. For cities, I tend to bring Miranda instead of Grunt. Much better.
  6. Uncannily accurate 20 questions..
  7. Only if that monstrosity started talking in an Austrian accent. All other Terminators are just killer robots.
  8. They do, however, giant sentient space squids.
  9. Sweet. Hopefully this'll let me play Portal on my lappie.
  10. Yes it is. In fact, he does most of it himself.
  11. Reave is very nice, if you don't have Warp or Incinerate. I play as a Vanguard, so yeah...
  12. Nah, the best additional ability is Reave. It gets **** done, and done quick.
  13. This. Hopefully it'll be playable at PAX East, but I highly doubt it.
  14. I'm gonna stay out of this one... I don't need more headaches... Plus, I don't really know anything about 20th century India, other than Ramanjuan.
  15. It is a game in a loose definition of the term. All games require interactivity, and this requires it quite a bit in order for it to actually go anywhere. Yes, but when the vast majority of the interaction occurs as a QTE, the interactivity becomes negligible. It does, as you said, fit the "loose definition" of a game... But HR to me seems like an attempt to fully fuse movies and games, but that ends up missing the best of both worlds: the excitement of games and the director-defined experience of movies.
  16. Ah, Archie. What would we ever do without your never-uninsightful Aussie opinions?
  17. Perhaps I just don't "get" Heavy Rain, but to me, its not a game. Its just a choose-your-own-adventure novel with pressing- X-to-not-die, like a Bio game with no combat. Except that Bio makes good games.
  18. I don't think that I took cover once in my 125+ hours in ME1. ME2 was pretty much the exact opposite... EDIT: @ Mr. Insomniac: Enflame is even better.
  19. I have a Blackberry. Its a waste of life. I can't wait to get rid of it. The keyboard is good, yes, but the web browser blows, and the apps are decidedly low-tech.
  20. Bah... Heavy shockwave or heavy charge= piles of husks... And my first playthrough consisted of: 1)Charge. 2)Empty out SMG clips while Charge recharges. 3) Repeat until theyre not moving. It was great.
  21. Congrats!
