Most of your posts in WoT are idiotic to some degree, and I think most people here, even the ones who agree with you on princible agree with me on this. Also I didn't respond because it was such a stupid thing to say, I'm richer than you

Maybe it's the way myself and others constantly attack him which makes him harsh and defensive? I'm probably one of the least harsh people on this forum, for instance I never insult people first unlike the unprovoked insult you just quoted. I do defend myself when attacked, which is constant, so it's no wonder if I look defensive. As far as smug, talk about pot calling the kettle black. Have you wondered why everyone attacks you all the time?

No, but the Vatican represents all Catholics. Edit: The quote in my sig is from Iranian protesters, so no, they don't all fall in lockstep. Yes and as we all know catholics aren't the only christians. Hell a lot of catholics probably don't agree with the Pope on everything.

Perhaps it is your smug attitude and idiotic posts in other threads that makes taking anything you post seriously really hard.

Purkake is not amused. All of Estonia trembles in fear! -
I have a birthmark shaped like that. It turns completely black every time there's a storm at sea.

It's a bit more sinister than this. All members of the ICCP use data that is based on the falsified data these core members made. Also the database where all data is stored and the code used to make the simulations is apparently so messed up that no one can make sense of it, not even the ICCP. So it could be that while the vast majority of the scientists working for the ICCP are honest and legit the core data which they compare they results to has been falsified or corrupted. For example tree ring data, which has been used to measure earths temperature differs from thermometer data. Tree rings show a decline in temperature since the 60s while thermometers show its been steadily rising. This puts into question the validity of all data based on tree rings which is iirc the majority of what ICCP has.

If you try to buy games (software) from Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk, the website says it won't ship to the zone you're in. I believe it's the same with Steam. There was an news article here in Australia showing how you can still use Steam and bypass the zone restriction by having a friend in another country get it for you. You have to get a bit creative. ebay retailers is anotehr way which is what I use. The risk is that if the package gets stopped by Customs and they realise it's a banned game, they will seize it and issue you a letter for importing banned material. On that note, could I trouble one of you chaps to buy me an uncensored version of L4D2? I'd do it but seems like it won't work. How did they censor it anyway?

I just saw a documentary about this leak. Seems like some of the leading members of the ICCP have faked results by combining tree ring data with thermometer data (the hockey stick diagram) which is a huge no-no since the two ways aren't comparable, and they've also used scare tactics and bullying to scare spectics silent. It IS a huge blow to the ICCP. It does cast a shadow on the whole organization and we might have to reassess how serious the threat of climate change is and if anything we can do about it will actually be of any use. What it doesn't do however, no matter how much poor Dagon would like it to, is show proof that the climate change doesn't exist at all. It just shows how much we don't know about the mechanics of Earths atmosphere. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions and trying to stop using fossil fuels is only a good thing no matter if theres a threat of us being to our ankles in seawater or not. To summarize, ICCP hasn't been doing real science and it's a good thing that their unscientific ways have come to to light. This however should not mean we bury our heads in the sand and forget all about the whole climate change. On the contrary it means that we have to take the whole thing even more seriously and put a lot more money into research, both hippies and sceptics.

Maybe it's because of your double post and double misspell of the word sponsor.

You probably have Purkake, but the Somalis probably don't.

Wait, you actually think helicopters are more important than the BBC?

There are no "true Ismlamists" just like there are no "true Christians". Every one considers their interpetration to be the right one, but looking from the outside they're all as retarded. But still you can't say that Iran represents all muslims just like you can't say that the vatican, with their anti-condom and abortion talk represent all christians. I don't really understand why this is such a hard concept for you guys.

Tell me Deathdealer, what game do you consider made for smart people (I'm assuming you place yourself in that category)? I'm assuming you're the kind of guy who considers George R.R. Martin to be the pinnacle of western literature.

Ah yes, the trickle down theory. Classic.

It might be both. The last time I heard they're implementing WoW-style quests (don't know how in depth they are but I guess they're better than D2's) and making their placement somewhat random so you probably won't have exactly the same quests on different playthroughs. They're also revamping the whole character system (no more skill trees is the latest rumour, which would indeed be a huge difference) so they're not afraid to break Diablo conventions.

That would be like putting poop on a poop sandwich. double negative turns into a positive
