What are you playing now?
Playing through the tiresome NWN2 OC just to transfer the same character to MotB is a total waste of time. Better start MotB from scratch and level him/her up!

Xbox 360
I know many things, you know?
-
Xbox 360
Whatever. The game was banal, higher difficulty won't change that.

Xbox 360
High difficulty does not necessarily mean it's intense. Could be annoying, but not intense by my meaning.

2008 is gonna be a lame year for games.
I totally forgot about the Piranha Bytes RPG.... that should come out prior Gothic 4 (which is slated for early 2010!!!). Isn't the Aliens FPS from Gearbox slated for 2008 as well?

Xbox 360
I never got into these War Shooters, and CoD4 is no exception there either. After playing the demo, I just wondered what exactly is supposed to make it so intense? The constantly lame barks, or the ultra-stupid enemies? I felt nothing while playing it. The only War-themed Shooter I actually ever enjoyed was Operation Flashpoint. PC-only, and damn hard. I wonder if Armed Assault is recommendable?

Your favorite game
Oh, there are so many. But I think I'd settle down with System Shock 2, preferably on the ISS, for maximum mood .

Um... Crysis.
There's no point playing such a game on a laptop. Crysis, while the landscapes, open scale battles, nano suit and tank fights were very well done, it just didn't do anything creatively, or particularly new. The story was dull, as were the characters. I never felt any affinity to the characters, or looked forward to the "What's next?" scene like I did in Episode2, for example. In the end, I just played through it because I like finishing my games. It was "just" a good game, but forgettable nonetheless.

Um... Crysis.
Not surprising at all. UT franchise lost it's edge since the original UT, and Crysis....I don't know. Crowded Holiday season, a lil' too demanding hardware hunger... That's what you get when you focus too much on tech and less on game...

What are you playing now?
If you refer to the old LA game, then I won't argue, since I never played that. Compared to Season 1 however, I didn't notice any sarcasm drop.

What are you playing now?
Well, improvements...(?) I find it excellent as it is. I'm not that meticulous about some lil' hiccups here and there.

What are you playing now?
I just finished Sam & Max Santa Claus the other day. TOTALLY HILARIOUS!

Um... Crysis.
I agree, Far Cry was better paced and more enjoyable. Crysis was pretty good until you engaged in the tank fights, from there everything felt a bit rushed and enforced.

2008 is gonna be a lame year for games.
2008 is going to be a good year... Project Origin Condemned 2 Dragon Age (hopefully) Starcraft 2 (probably) Obsidian's Project Georgia (I think so) And a few more I forgot /will pop up

Hope for a new Shadowrun and Crimson Skies game?

Um... Crysis.
Crysis looks better, but HL2 is still the better game. I see myself still playing some Ep2 occasionally and feel some excitement when Alyxx blinks with her eyes at me, while I already totally forgot anything about Crysis. Valve is a world-class developer, while Crytek is "just" another AAA developer.

Games you are looking forward to
After playing some super-serious stuff like MOTB, Crysis, Ep2, Witcher etc. I'm actually looking forward to some smaller, more fun and creative games again. Like Sam &Max Season 2, Insecticide and a Vampyr Story.

Free Bioshock goodies and patch on way
My wishlist would be the Walking toggle, the third big daddy, and Monkeys!

What are you playing now?
Opposing Force. This 8 year old Add-on still kicks ass.
-
I told you so (yet again)
Thanks god I always know which game (and why) I exactly want to get in advance. I'm usually trusting my favorite companies on this... no need for our "professional" game journalism.

HORRIBLE EAX-bug
Switch EAX off. It never made any difference anyway to me.

In Honor of Remembrance Day: The Questions That Sparked World War I
Well, "should" is hard to say. Both Serbia and Austria-Hungary had different viewpoints of the future of Bosnia-Herzegowina. AH wanted to create an European Islam, so huge sums for education and industrialization have been spend to show the Bosnians that not nationalism, but socio-eco progress was the way to go while retaining their (mostly) Moslem religious identity. Serbia on the other hand graved for nationality. Much to the disgrace of the ethnic German and Hungarian citizens, Archduke Ferdinand was known as a huge reformer (which would take effect once Franz Joseph would cease), reforms that would favor the Slavic parts of the Dual-monarchy (thus Bosnia as well). Obviously, this scared Serbian nationalists. Being Slavic Pro made Ferdinand a dangerous man for the Serbs, preventing the possibility for a pan-slavic Balkan state even more. This led to the assassination of Ferdinand and his wife, eventually.

Eidos Announces Deus Ex 3
Indeed. But a GITS ripoff is still better than an Invisible War 2. I mean it only can get up after IW.... About the OST: Jesper Kyd could fit the role as well.
-
Game prices
Yeah, console games cost around 70

Eidos Announces Deus Ex 3
I can't help but always relate everything "Montreal" with Ubisoft Montreal, which only makes mediocre games at best. Let's just hope the new Eidos studio will stand out of this monstrously lame game machinery, and make DX3 a worthy, creative successor to the original classic.
