  1. Could be some SNES version of MGS.
  2. This whole thing has digressed anyway. But yeah, the US is always right. Bla Bla. There taks. Point is, the US is the first one to condemn other countries even by the slightest digression of her own democratic values and views. But it seems the US is also a bit "sloppy" (no, I don't want to say they're neclecting them deliberately) to adhere to her own standards and laws that she's so furiosuly protecting and adoring. This all has been reinforced thanks to Bush and his administration. That's why he should be taken accountable for his mess. You can't then just say "We don't care what the rest of the world thinks", as the rest of the world is often harmed thanks through (in)direct US policy. I think that was how this flamewar initially started in the first place. As for the poor al-Saidi: That's a "from America with love" for you. You're not the first one for sure.
  3. no, but it wouldn't surprise me either way. you can't assault the leader of a major country and expect to not get roughed up. Is that so? So because Bush is the president, it ought to come as natural to cripple some journalist? If he's really such a Christ he always pretends to be, then he would have given strict orders not to legitimize torture by his trigger-happy clowns. Among thousand other things. Talk about hypercrisy.... If torturing or "roughing a bit up" as you say has become the norm, then I really wonder how Bush is any better than Hussein. Oh of course I forgot, he's the president of the USA.
  4. Cute. I still prefer the PS3 version of MGS though.
  5. um, this guy gets taken down for assaulting the president of the US and somehow the president talking about freedom is connected? Has it even been confirmed that Saidi got these injuries in that room? What if security forces just abused him afterwards, in his cell? And that's certainly not the first case, as Bush after all, legitimated torture. But of course that doesn't itch him, he just needs to smile into the camera and make freedom speeches. Maybe you got it now.
  6. so what does the first comment have to do with the last? oh, yeah, you just don't have a clue. got it. whether you like it or not, bush is the president of the US and threats are taken seriously. get taken down by half a dozen security forces and you're going to be hurt. same would have happened with any other leader of any country. in fact, had this guy done something to one of the middle-eastern leaders, he might not be around anymore. taks I think everybody with a little brain can already suggest what that means. And what sort of dip**** security service did they have in that room anyway? He had time to throw a second shoe. Normally, he should have been pulled down after he threw his first immediately. And by pulling down, I don't mean almost killing him. What a dip**** crew.
  7. Apparently security forces already abused Montasser al-Saidi (the guy who threw the shoe). Several ribs and his arm has been broken. Click But Bush just smiles and talks about freedom and stuff.
  8. Sure, but if the US government promotes torturing and violence against people as something positive (War on Terror), then keep the rest of the world out of it.
  9. Right. Those damn Eurosnobs who came up with these Geneva conventions don't need to tell US what is good or bad. Let's break them, crap on human rights, because US don't need to listen to anyone.
  10. And it's most probably just be as boring as Dead Space, coming from the Dead Space devs themself.
  11. Today while playing Resident Evil I learned that zombies are apparently very vulnerable to electro shocks. So, a Taser could come in handy. Just sayin'
  12. Exactly! The mighty US of A doesn't have to adhere to international law, because it is the law!
  13. But that's because the game was made by Jerries.
  14. Ferg knows how to swing his Desert Eagle!
  15. I see Nick has become 12. Happy birthday Nick!
  16. He walked into a trap while he was hunting for the prestigious Dragon Order's emblem. I'm sorry.
  17. So, how is that relevant for today?
  18. FEAR 2, Alpha Protocol and Dragon Age are the must-haves for Q1 2009. RE5 a maybe. Beyond that, we'll see.
  19. I stopped playing Dead Space in Chapter 6. Not that the game is particularly bad, there's just a lack of something that should drive me forward. Maybe I'm getting old.
  20. Uhhg, I stopped playing. I'll sell that one back. Much style, but no substance. The gameplay just doesn't offer me anything besides jumping and clicking. The game doesn't even support my gamepad, so I have to hammer on my poor keyboard the whole time. Think of the poor keyboards!
  21. All I've seen from FFXIII are CG videos. It's like, they throw out more money for friggin videos than making the actual game. But yeah, it looks totally stupid. Japs and girls will find it good though, I'll stay away from it.
  22. It's indeed a marvelous achievement from the art department. Elika is also hawt, so I hope I'll get a well deserved sex scene after I beat the end boss. What?
  23. Kaftan = A kind of comfortable garment worn by both women and men. Barlast = Weight you put in the bottom of a ship to keep it more stable Combined, they're a boy from sweden. Makes sense... So, RotA is a fun game. Wait...what was the question again?...
