  1. That game could have turned out to be pretty good, but alas, we never found out.
  2. Bioshock, HL2, FEAR, NOLF...whether you liked these games or not, they were well received high quality shooters. When was the last time we saw a high-quality TB strategy game from a western developer (apart from Civ4?).
  3. Junk? Compare today's high-quality shooters with those cheap Easter European wannabe-Jagged Alliance clones and then let's talk about qualit again, right? The only XCOM strategy game I'd accept would have to come from Firaxis, because they know their genre. Other than that, I'm glad this genre is almost exctinct.
  4. What really counts is the developer and it's skills. The 2K (Irrational Games) family has proven several times that they're masters at crafting brilliantly designed FPS. Xcom? Never played any of those, but from the looks of it it seems to be pretty cool. Aliens trying to turn humans into toast is always fun.
  5. ...is the only logical conclusion to be succesful these days.
  6. Looking at those artworks it doesn't seem to be set in the far future.
  7. So 2K Marin and 2K Australia sort of merged?
  8. Good luck making a XCOm TB strategy game for the Xbox 360.
  9. Hello. Civ is a notable exception, because Sid Meier and crew are well known, plus they have a huge and loyal fanbase, so they can afford to make these kind of games. XCOM can NOT!
  10. This is awesome news (and probably the worst kept secret ever). Xcom setting = win FPS = win 2K Marin = win Seriously guys, did you really think they'd make a TB strategy game in these days? But I thought 2K Australia would work on Xcom. What are those lazy bastards up to anyway?
  11. Last time I checked, no. But Poland always needs someone to blame. Now that the Nazis are gone, the ball's on the Russky now. Where there's a Russky, there's always a problem. -Polish wisdom
  12. The days were I was obsessed about a video game release are long gone. But yeah, this is still a must-buy.
  13. Will it be reveiled at this year's E3? Respond if it isn't the case, don't respond if it is true.
  14. Epic games announces a new shooter: Bulltestorm Developed by it's Polish subsidiary "People Can Fly" (Painkiller), it will be officially reveiled on Monday along with Gears of War 3 from Epic's master chief Cliff Blezinsky.
  15. Tomorrow's election day in Hungary, right? How high are the chances Jobbik will invade our Burgenland?
  16. Good then that the game mostly plays in FPV.
  17. Don't worry my Polish friends - Brussels will take over all governmental duties over your country now. Temporarily only, of course.
  18. Good questions, good answers. I'm now even more looking forward to the game.
  19. GiantBomb also has an video interview with Crytek's
  20. The Crysis 2 website is now online, complemented with a super corny trailer that shows brave marines dying a heroic dead under an evil Alien attack. Well, I for one am looking forward to it. It's NYC baby! Plus I like pretty graphics and shooters in general. So there.
  21. People coming and leaving on the fly seems to be really a trend at Obsidian.
  22. DA is Bio's second best fantasy RPG. It's still overshadowed by the glorious BG2.
  23. Kasumi was a bit short, but nonetheless a very fun romp. The new gun is pretty neat, too. Wouldn't mind if Kasumi becomes a fully joinable NPC in ME3.
