The Lovely Bones. I don't get why everyone on IMDB is bashing that movie, I thought it was very heart-warming and throughout enjoyable. Peter Jackson has done his homeworks.

The walking/stalking animations look a bit funny, but otherwise I'm pleased with what I've seen.

No friggin' way Obsidian is making a DA sequel. If they want to be recognized in the industry along RPG giants Bethesda and Bioware, they better start making their own IPs. Besides, wouldn't they make a Alpha Protocol sequel if AP1 sells well? They don't have that much manpower to make so many games. F:NV, WoT, AP2(?), Top secret project....too much.

Oh yes, the "dark fantasy theme" that Bioware was pimping throughout DA's development. There isn't really anything like that in the actual game. Seems to me quite ordinary fantasy, but well done ordinary fantasy mind you. From the little I remember, BG2 had darker themes.

I disagree. AP doesn't look any worse than any other UE3 powered game. I think the new screenshots show that it rather looks very good.

Well I think we should find out more next week at GDC. Portal 2 will be a standalone full-price game with new mechanics and it's own story. Not sure when Ep3 will come out.

Sorry, I don't like the South America setting (or was that a different game?). Anyway, AC2 I heard is a major improvement over AC1, and I thought AC1 was pretty good, so I'm gonna pick that up in the next days.

Well, whatever. Sucks to be a pirate. And the torrents are too slow these days anyway, so I'm baffled why people are even putting up with that chore.

It wouldn't stop me from buying BG&E2, but AC2? Bah! BG&E2 isn't even coming out for PC. Otherwise, I need something to play till Alpha Protocol.

Except Ubi's DRM is also constantly spying on your AC2 installation, to see if you're playing a legit version. As bad as StarForce? Probably not. Technically still spyin', though. It's all a cumulative list of ways in which they don't trust PC consumers. Yeah? If they only "spy" on my gaming behaviour, I'm okay with that. It's not like something gets into my way enjoying the game.

While I think the new Ubi DRM is a bit stupid, it's not annoying enough to keep me away from buying AC2. In fact, I rather live with a constant internet connection than having some spyware bull**** installed into my systems folder.

Blizzard was owned by Vivendi, so they didn't really had a choice when those two giants merged.

I miss the old Kotor2 days when the devs were more communicative. Even MCA posted back then. Well, times have changed. Games is all business and seriousness these days now...

Started playing FEAR 2 again but was then quickly reminded what borefest it is.
