FEAR 3. The games's a lot better than I anticipated. Yay for having no expectations at all! Either way, game looks great (again, what are reviewers up to these days?), but the sound design is a bit weak. I miss the spooky sound design from FEAR1. But overall, it's a very good shooter so far. Better than FEAR 2 easily, but not quite up the alley of FEAR1.

Has any country ever defaulted? What happens if it does? Either way, those austerity measures wouldn't be necessary if Greeks would actually pay their taxes. And now Croatia, another corrupt ****hole is joining in 2013. Luckily enough, the world will end in 2012.

D&D Daggerdale is out on Steam. Somebody played it? Is it really that awful as reviews let it sound?

Don't. Even after 10 patches the engine is completely broken. Not to mention that the "game" itself is as exciting as chewing 2 week old toast bread.

I don't like the old Western, but the newer contributions are quite good. Recently watched "There will be Blood", not a Western per se, but tha late 19th century Mid-west America has some potential, even beyond doing your typical Cow Boy stuff.

The Eagle. Not as cool as Gladiator, but still a must-watch for gladius and sandals fans. Some very little twists in the story keeps you entertained till the end.

It's like GTA I heard. I might get bored of it afterall. Is it more corny 60s Western style or more "modern", a 'la The Proposition, True Grit remake etc?

Yeah I think I'll pick up RDR. LA Noire just seems all about reading peoples faces and press a button occasionally.

LA Noire has shipped 4 million copies Once I'm finsihed with FEAR3 and DSIII, I'll either pick up Red Dead Redemption or LA Noire. Which one my esteemed comrades is more worthy?

The game isn't even in the Top 10 so it will never shift a million units. Maybe longterm, but that's not what publishers are interested.

Maybe you could get lost a bit easier in older shooters, but that's because of aimless and sloppy level design rather than intention. I like my shooters linear, bot not on-rails, like CoD and the other "big" franchises out there.
