  1. I assume you are trolling......? Uhm...no?
  2. Are you playing the retail version? Does it use Steamworks?
  3. Wii U is not going to be cheap Won't be till 2013 or 2014 when the first good games land on that console. I really really want the Wii U to be succesful and be heavily supported by 3rd party, because I think the controller has a lot of potential, especially for RPGs. Invetory, party, UI and all that stuff could be displayed and directly interacted with on the controller.
  4. Yeah, the first hour is a bit boring, but when you get out to the streets of Vegas everything gets better.
  5. Okay, I played some 2 hours Duke Nukem Forever, and I like it. It's certainly not on par with HL2 or Crysis 2, but it's still solid fun. It reminds me of the old days of Half Life 1 or Quake 2 where shooters were still level design driven and puzzle driven, so, no cutscene bull****, no objectives a'la "secure that bridges till the choppers come", no artificial drama, nothing that could deprive the experience for just being pure and straight forward. Graphics is also better than I thought. Is it just me or does the Unreal Engine 2.5 actually look better than 3? Well, probably a matter of taste. If you are a Duke fan, buy this game. If you're shooter fan that wants a break from all the boring Call or Duties and Halos or Battlefields, buy this game. Otherwise, wait for a price drop.
  6. I have talent too, but yes, at least I'm not a w... British.
  7. If I ever were a game designer I'd invent a character that has all traits of the Duke, Commander Shepard and Chuck Norris. It would sell trillions.
  8. Gamestar reviewed it and gave it 68%. It's old-school in every sense, but if you enjoyed DN3D, you'll like as well. You can get the game pretty cheaply at www.cdkeysdiscount.com All you need is a paypal account and a Steam account.
  9. Looks like WoW compounded with Oblivion.
  10. Europeans get it tomorrow already. It can already be pre-loaded.
  11. I don't know, watching these demo videos, it gives me a bit this old-school Half Life 1 vibe, which is a good thing. If it sucks, at least I didn't waste full 50 EUR on it.
  12. Just bought Duke Nukem Forever for 23
  13. Perhaps they're holding back for a Wii U release, which would mean it won't be released prior Fall 2012. God I so hope they also make a PC version.
  14. Another XCOM preview @Gamespot So far I'm really in love with what I'm reading. Coming from the talented guys of 2K Marin makes this even more delightful. Of course I never played the old X-COM games so I don't give a **** what "fans" of the series think.
  15. Sounds like I'd want to pick up if it's cheaper. Is it true the game only saves after you finish a chapter?
  16. Sony US boss (talking to that GTTV guy) said something like - Agent is still in production, but most likely is not exclusive to PS3 anymore. I think Xbox360 version is nearly certain, Wii (on) U possible and no chance for PC version. But you're right, no offical word from Rockstar on any possible new games - no new GTA, Bully 2, Red Dead Redemption sequel, Agent... No way it's coming to 360, Sony and R* had an exclusive deal. Unless you care to provide me with a link where they Sony boss mentioned that.
  17. The DSIII.exe shows 1.0 under version info for the demo, so I suppose this is the retail version, hence no changes.
  18. Depends on the game. If it is an RPG, and especially from Obsidian, then yes.
  19. And we all know how "superb" previous console entries of CA have been...
  20. I must conclude this E3 was quite a disappointment (again): We didn't hear anything from: R* Agent Quantic Dream project Project Redlime New Monolith game (besides that gimmicky downloadable Batman nonsense) Pyro studios (hello, someone at home? I want a new Commandos!) Project Zulu New Obsidian game
  21. PC piracy is a big...oh wait it's the console versions.
  22. That's your problem. Jesus Christ people, shell out some money for a decent sound card. I recommend the Asus Xonar series. Otherwise, keep the soundcard drivers up to date, also install the newest Motherboard Chipset drivers.
