Both are the best RPGs since Deus Ex!

Babylon A.D. Movie got some real potential, but the end felt sorta botched. Still, interesting setting and premise, some good acting, especially Aurora.

I'm not doing this on purpose, really. It's just that people need to stop calling Deus Ex an RPG.

FEAR was a classic, and possibly Monoliths last good game. FEAR 2 was the result when you let focus groups direct your design decisions. FEAR 3 is from Day1, who mad the awful Fracture. But I'll gladly download a demo if there should ever be one.

Deus Ex ain't an RPG. And for todays standards, it is crap. A 1000 years ago however when I played it, it was like the best thing ever. Things are changing. As for HR, well, it better has an engaging, non-silly story, otherwise it will be "just" a nice FPS hybrid with pompous art direction.

Because it has solid level design, cool bad guys and some nice guns?

The main character is an unlikeable Joe you would pick up on the streets. The powers are boring and remind me of stupid X-Men. The design is lazy, and overall it lacks direction. At least the technology was kinda impressive, but really, this game is the epitome of average. It's like the developers don't even want to try to put more creativity and effort into their games. Or maybe they just suck. If I'd be a game developer I'd be quite pissed to pour 3 years of energy and heartblood into a game just to realize it didn't have any impact on the market. Nada. It's a pure waste of time.

Yeah, Gearbox knows a thing or two about shooters. This is really (mostly) 3DRs work. Gearbox just finished up the remaining 20% plus they ported it to consoles. It's all George Broussards fault that the game is so backward and misogynistic. Overall, it's still a fun romp. Just don't pay full price for it. And don't take the game too serious.

Played the InFamous 2 demo. What a piece of ****. I mean really, some developers just need to get out of business. I also checked out Beyond Good & Evil HD, and to my surprise, it's free. So I just bought this thing without paying a penny. Did Sony now become a charity organisation or what? Not that I complain...
