In Bruges. My god what a lovely made film. I totally loved it. It is European cinema at it's best. And quite encouraging after the that was Sucker Punch.

I thought since Westwood was absorbed into the EA machinery, C&C games suddenly dropped in quality and became, well, pointless. I really used to enjoy strategy games from Pyro and Ensemble. But Ensemble is no more and Pyro is MIA. Leaves us only Blizzard.

I'm always of the opinion if modders want to learn, and want to have a chance maybe landing a job someday, they should do so with Techs/Engines that actually are supported and have a future. I.E the widespread Unreal Engine has a free SDK available, also CryEngine 3 now has a SDK.

I'm already fantasizing the sequel's name: "Dishonored: Honor restored"

Remember Zenimax/Beth is a privately held publisher, so they don't answer to share holders and quarterly pressure. They also publish Prey 2 which is shaping up to become pretty neat. 2012 is indeed one of the finest year for games.

If you could read you would see that Dishonored is a first-person stealth game at first, shooter second. And Bethesda as a publisher is awesome! Not so much as a developer...

You're gonna kill the Reapers by shooting certain spots on them. It's quite brilliant design philosophy from Bioware, actually. The Protheans could build the Citadel but they couldn't figure out defeating the Reapers by shooting them in the upper right belly [battle L.A. pun intended]

Sucker Punch That movie embodies everything I hate about Hollywood mainstream. Stupid ugly girls scarcely clothed, beating **** out of giant Samurais, evil WW1 half-German/half-Robots, and of course real robots.

Normally I'm not into the Superhero lore and comics, and I especially despise Spiderman and Superman. But with Batman I make an exception. Arkham Asylum was indeed a very fine game. Well designed maps, fun combat, exceptionally well art design. I think Arkham City should be a day 1 purchase.

Started playing Singularity yesterday night. It's a mix of Bioshock meets Enemy at the Gates. Pretty good so far.

Belgian beer quite sucks. Every brewery north of Bavaria and Czechia loses automatically.

Codex is 98% trash. 2% of topics and discourse can be quite interesting though.
