Thailand bans Grand Theft Auto IV
Bartimaeus replied to Deadly_Nightshade's topic in Computer and Console
Flame..? I don't ever flame, unless someone is really acting like a jerk in an argument. And I really don't have an argument, either, because any one I can think up of I can already think up of something that can beat it. When you can't think up of anything for an argument, you know you lost, -
Thailand bans Grand Theft Auto IV
Bartimaeus replied to Deadly_Nightshade's topic in Computer and Console
As if that could be empirically proved. What if it increases the government's feeling of power, thereby increasing the probability that people will eventually feel repressed and lash out at the government? I have an idea, make a list of things that you should ban under the "If it just saves one life..." reasoning. Then ban them all. Then see how many people get murdered by their government for disobeying and see how many government agents get killed in return. How many lives would you consider that you've saved? So, no matter the probability, as long as there are some morons in a country, everyone else's rights have to be infringed? I hope you're not an American. We must protect the people from themselves! To answer your question: Yes, I am an American. Although, you do have some wonderfully good points. I don't hate GTAIV. I hate the idiots that play it. -
Thailand bans Grand Theft Auto IV
Bartimaeus replied to Deadly_Nightshade's topic in Computer and Console
If it reduces the chances of me getting killed, then ban it. If a nation has stupid kids like this that can play it, I guess it should be banned. If the world has such dumb people that disregard life as easily as that, then games like this shouldn't be allowed to come into existence, I guess. -
Your Top 10 Favorite Games of All Time
Bartimaeus replied to jaguars4ever's topic in Computer and Console
1. Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie, whichever way you put it, doesn't really matter, because I equally love both. I'm also hoping Threeie will replace this top one, or share it's place., on the Nintendo 64. 2. Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn, on the PC. 3. Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne, on the PC. 4. Fable: The Lost Chapters, on the PC. 5. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, (including expansions, as well as mods), on the PC. 6. Planescape: Torment, on the PC. 7. Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction. Had some really fun times on this one, but then I realized, later, that it was just a big time waster, as well as expertised in making its players, as well as me, mad as heck. Still, deserves a place on this list. 8. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, on the Wii/Gamecube. I actually like the story tons better then the actual game play, but that seems to happen a lot. If I was rating the game play only, I'd say Ocarina of Time is better. But I like the story tons better, so... 9. The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, on the Nintendo 64. Look above. 10. Super Mario Bros Allstars + Super Mario World, on the Super Nintendo. Stolen right from another topic on another forum, -
You Are A: Chaotic Neutral Human Druid (3rd Level) Ability Scores: Strength- 15 Dexterity- 15 Constitution- 18 Intelligence- 19 Wisdom- 19 Charisma- 15 Huh. Pretty good ability scores. Think it matches me pretty well.

Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction. Darn myself for playing this.
-
I bought an EDeathZ on Diablo 2 for 20 HRs. Stupid over pricers.
-
Avatar: The Last Airbender. Whether or not this can be truly called Anime is something to be discussed in another topic, in before you haters go all h8 on me.

The Highway Man. The Ancient. The Silver Shard. Streams of Silver. Eulalia. Liked them all,

I didn't weep, but I was pretty dang sad at the end of Twilight Princess.

I would suggest not doing that, since if you die with the second set of gear, you lose one set of gear forever if you quit, which I've had happen to me. That would suck. My first set was stuff I altered myself, one of a kind. Guess I'll just quit while the getting is good. Onward to FoT then. Yes...and then I emailed and called Blizzard, they basically told me to stfu and quit if I don't like it. Ah...such great support.

Yes. I'd venture to add Gears of War 2, NG 2 DLC, Galactrix, DoW ****ing 2, next Yahtzee game, Black Mesa:Source, some Thief fms, particularly La Grenouille Noir, Hinterlands, Prince of Persia 4, Halo prequel fps, Schizoid(today!), Mercenaries 2 definitely, then at least Red Alert 3(Klepacki! Gundam! Bear Rain!) and tentatively Fallout 3. I'll probably end up buying perhaps three of them all, but here's hoping. Never heard of hardly any of those, unfortunately.

What song do you want played at your funeral?
Bartimaeus replied to Humodour's topic in Way Off-Topic
Most certainly that. I want people to be afraid on my funeral. Then, they will regret every single bad thing they've done to me. :D If not that, than this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEtmyWZReOg -
1. Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts 2. Diablo 3 3. Fable 2 4. Storm of Zehir 5. Empire: Total War

Mass Effect was pretty sweet, in my opinion. Go get it. Medieval 2 is somewhat fun, yet somewhat boring in the same instance. I think it's just because I have a general dislike for RTS, but this one actually made my time enjoyable, yet it still seemed to have a boring factor in it. But it's still pretty fun to mess around with. S.T.A.L.K.E.R....is okay...I'm not a fan of FPS, but I have played it. And in my opinion, it's pretty farging hard, but if you're use to quick saving and loading all the time, you'll have fun. Oblivion was fun, but you really, and absolutely, do need mods to make it really enjoyable. Just get them. I'm not joking. Getting mods for Oblivion can make your experience a thousand times better, even though, it is still initally fun. Like above, you need to quick save and load all the time, too. Orange Box - Portal was short, yet absolutely fun. Like I said before, quick saving and loading is really needed for this, too. It's very unique, too, and I doubt you'll find something like it anywhere else. - Team Fortress 2, I haven't played yet...(even though, I've had it for like a year...), so I don't know. Half Life 2: Episodes Whatever were fun, though, imo. (edit) Agreeing with the poster above about Assassins's Creed.

Nintendo's E3 this year was the worst E3 they've ever had, and is worse than Sony's 2006 E3. That's pretty bad. But Microsoft's E3 is pretty sweet. And Sony's is alright.

Is Dark Messiah anything like Oblivion?
-
Wall-E. My favorite movie of the year. Going to see the Dark Knight when it comes out, of course, though.

AudioSurf and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. What's the point of these threads? +1 posts for saying what you're playing right now? Might as well just make a chat room.

Is it me, or is this mod laggy as heck? My original versions run absolutely fine on medium graphics, 60-80FPS. However, when running this, loading times take up to at least twenty five times as much time, it's really laggy, and when I try to move a character, it gets stuck.

This really makes me angry. Especially after I heard what Blake, the guy who was doing, it said. This is when a demotion is obvious. If he cannot see things such as this clearly, then he should not be that high in ranks.

This is really what I was looking for before, thank you very much,

More items that actually match colors. If I'm going to be a darn bard, I've got to look cool.
