It told me to stop playing it a few weeks ago after playing it for like 45 minutes, maybe an hour...so I did. I don't like ham-fisted narratives with stupid "twists".

The Great Game Giveaway: Tuesday Edition
Bartimaeus replied to ShadySands's topic in Computer and Console
I know for a fact that if some of my friends knew you were giving that (and the other horrible anime games) away, they would claim it specifically to gift to me to torture me in making me play it. However, because none of them are on here, I do not have to worry about such sick, twisted scenarios playing out.- 487 replies

I'm less upset about Chipman's seemingly perpetually reprehensible behavior and opinions than I am about the fact that some people still care enough about him to take the time out of their day to screenshot the random garbage that comes out of his mouth (or fingers, in this case, I guess). C'mon, we don't need to promote this lunatic.

Bernie also polled better in the initial batch of Southern states than he actually ended up doing - another part of why I'm greatly afraid of Florida. And unfortunately, the fact that the South almost certainly won't vote for the Democrats either way has little bearing on the nomination process itself. :/
-
There's still Florida to account for, which is a very large amount of delegates, and which he is polling horribly in. Tying (or, in this case, slightly winning) Michigan was very important for him to remain at least sort of viable, but now we're on to the next very frightening milestone, one which, if the rest of the South is any indication, he might very well lose badly. Still, at least there is at least some optimism remaining after today, when it was widely predicted there wouldn't be.

Yes. AP (the Associated Press) officially declares Sanders win in Michigan.
-
According to fivethirtyeight (the most accurate pollster/aggregate pollster, supposedly?), the previous greatest upset in American primary history was Walter Mondale winning the Democrat NH primary while trailing 17.1 points. Clinton lead Bernie by 21.3 in Michigan. It might not end up mattering in the grand scheme of things, but at least he can stick that feather in his cap, I guess. (e): Well, assuming he actually ends up winning, that is. Detroit doesn't like him very much, it seems.

Main Story, an atheist cliche?
Bartimaeus replied to Brimsurfer's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
Ah, that explains why I didn't see this pile of garbage before it was already 8 pages long. -
Is it "OCD" to say "no, it's more OCPD than OCD"?
-
Looks like Sanders will be crushed in Mississippi (no surprise there), but he takes an early (small) lead in Michigan so far. We'll see how that pans out...

Why do you randomly put put two empty lines between some paragraphs, and one empty line between others? Your posts drive me crazy whenever I read them. ._. Personally, I always have my Steam profile set to completely private, so I can get away with just blocking the undesirables (that for whatever reasons I can't/shouldn't remove), which prevents them from seeing I'm online or what I'm playing. However, for friends who are also friends with some of my other friends, it runs too much of a risk that they might be talking to one another and one might notice I'm online while the other will see that I'm not, so to be safe, I block all of them. This doesn't seem ideal in your case, because you like playing with your other friends that he is also friends to, but you can at least play stuff in peace. (e): Also, ideally, yes, do what Malcador said. I've done what I've described, but I've also done what Malcador has said, and it's generally much better to do it that way.

At this point, I don't think much of value was truly lost here, as the studio was just a shell of its former self. A shame that the company's plans (perhaps dreams, more accurately) for their games were never fully realized, and that they're gone entirely now, though. The first time I played through Fable: The Lost Chapters many years ago, and my experimentation in Black & White, are good memories - although I knew next to nothing about the two games going in, which probably explains why I wasn't so horribly disappointed as so many others were. Still.
-
(e): p.s. this is much more fun to watch than to play lol
-
Because they're so horrendously unenjoyable. Going through the idiotic blizzard area with the randomly charging horses and going through Iron Passage...literally just so bad I never wanted to play a Souls game ever again. Maybe part of it was because by that point, I was starting to feel more like one of those people who just doesn't like Souls games rather than the DS "veteran" I was supposed to be, but whatever - that crap was horrific.
-
I hate our election system and I hate both parties. I demand sympathy!

For me, so far it's Dark Souls > Bloodborne >>> Dark Souls II >>> Dark Souls II DLC. I haven't played Demon Souls...yet. The Dark Souls II DLC is the most horrendous gameplay of any Souls game I've played so far, though, with every one of the new areas being uniquely awful in an entirely different way. I'm truly impressed how they managed to make someone who's played through about 95% of DS1 (including DLC) on NG7 at SL1 just absolutely loathe DS2, but they managed to do it.

I'm glad he gets to go off into the sunset a SB champion, and not, you know, Favre-ing it up. End of an era, etc.
-
The South is a gigantic number of delegates, though, and while he's projected to do better outside of it, he's not projected to do so well he can make up for being absolutely crushed in the South, which is why he's currently projected to lose. He's also currently losing in Florida and Michigan, the latter of which he needs to be winning, and the former of which he needs to be at least sort of close... There's nothing to misunderstand, Bruce. That's good, because you are, after all, the one making all the posts that you are constantly making that have made us regard you this way.
-
It's such a shame he's losing most of the South so horrendously badly - if it was a little closer there, he'd be sooo much better off right now.
-
Bloodborne. My opinion of it is a lot better than my opinion of Dark Souls 2 so far, so that's nice. Much more fast-paced like DS1 was...

Blame Social Justice Warriors for Donald Trump
Bartimaeus replied to Valsuelm's topic in Way Off-Topic
My point was, that if Trump actually wins based off of this current "self-destructive" platform (and those who vote for him are presumably pleased with his presidency), then why wouldn't future GOP nominees emulating him have just as good of a chance as he did, thereby averting this so-called "self-destruction"? Wouldn't the GOP voter base picking a radical and a outsider that totally *fails* to win the presidency be a greater destructive force in the GOP, instead of one who can actually win? The latter is the GOP evolving to nominate the president its voter-base wants and actually being successful at carrying them to the White House - the former is demonstrating that the GOP and its voter-base have failed, and will probably continue to fail unless something changes (which may or may not happen regardless of circumstances). -
Blame Social Justice Warriors for Donald Trump
Bartimaeus replied to Valsuelm's topic in Way Off-Topic
Isn't winning the Republican nomination already more than enough for that, ktchong? You want Trump to win the presidency so it breaks the Republican party, because they'll just emulate him...but if he wins the presidency doing that, isn't the logical conclusion that future Republican nominees like him will do the same? (...Unless his presidency is horrific, of course, in which case the GOP will likely distance themselves from him as much as possible, particularly as he's already an outsider to begin with.) -
VR 8K per eye, but the vast majority of developers still won't be able to make competent face animations...
-
What's wrong with that? Makes me want to keep using it even more if it's causing that effect on people...

Yep, I mentioned that here yesterday. Thanks for the video confirmation, though.
