K2 on the XBOX 360
That is the downfall of the X360. Terrible reverse compatibility. I like the system better than Wii or PS3 even though its got its bugs. Any idea about original Xbox preformance? I've noticed some errors where the subtitles don't match speech or where you can't interface with some objects. This was more like an oversight: most people playing TSL don't know calculus but the door on Nar Shadda- the Hutt's warehouse door that goes to the control room is impossible to even figure out what rotating a block means much less solving the puzzle. KOTOR 1 did much better in the number puzzles. Not easier, better. I ended up shooting the control with T3-M4 to open the door. (Also I just ran past the HK-50 assassins )

The best man in KOTORs
Best male party member or male resembling droid party member. The topic has a bad name. Pretty much this: best human male in KOTORs. We should generalize to make it: best male party member or male resembling droid party member. I don't exactly have a favorite. Canderous, Mandalore and Atton I guess. I know Canderous/Mandalore, but I mean I like KOTOR 1 and 2 versions of him. Why are all the droids evil!? I don't really care for GO-TO but HK-47 is cool. I also say T3-M4 is one of my favorites. Its halarious that you have lengthy conversations with him but would have no idea what hes saying was it not for the available qestions toward him. And when you play as him theres always the long talks where you only have one choice each time to speak and its something like: Beep! Doot beep. Anyway, yeah.

Microsoft Xbox 360 versus Sony Playstation 3 (Nintendo Wii not disscussed) by Walkerguy - February 4, 2008 Edited March 3, 2008 The Xbox 360 was released on November 22, 2005, and the Playstation 3 November 11, 2006. Both consoles are part of the seventh generation of video games. Microsoft Xbox might be considered the better of the two. The Xbox 360 is less powerful than Playstation, but for the price it is not only a better value but a better video game investment. Playstation 3 has 20, 40, 60, or 80 gigabyte hard drives versus the Xbox 360's 256 MB, 20 GB, or 120 GB. As seen here, Xbox offers an obvious choice: rare gamers for the Arcade (256 MB), moderate gamers for the Standard system (20 GB), or serious gamers for the Elite system (120 GB which has larger storage than any of the PS3's). Playstation 3 has a confusing system of going up 20 GB for each step up. Graphically, Playstation 3 has an upper hand, at a price however. Both systems have the same processor speed of 3.2 GHz, faster than many computers even. Playstation has Blu-Ray but Xbox 360 has HiDef DVD. Again, for a price Playstation beats Xbox- this time reverse compatibility with full PS and PS2 games being compatible on the PS3. Xbox 360 has almost all titles compatible just with a short wait while the 360 configures the older game. Playstation supports up to seven controllers but who is going to play splitscreen that's split more than four times!!? Xbox 360 supports the sane number of four controllers. Wireless is now the usual method for both systems' controllers, but wired can also be inter-mixed on either system. Playstation allows for connection to your screen via every method known to man, allows for extreme online speeds (for those who pay for extremely high speed Internet with the same respects to the cost) and has ports for memory sticks (Playstation line product) not to mention 4 USB ports opposed to Xbox's 3 USB ports. 360 has maybe considered lesser online connection abilities, but all PS3's fine points over Xbox yet again, are for the price. Playstation's online service has never been close to Xbox or Xbox 360's premium gaming service Xbox Live, and PS2's attempt was an utter failure. Playstation 3's service is also free which either means its inferior or the price will always be steeper for PS3. Xbox Live, whether Original or 360 edition charges about $60 from any seller for a year subscription (unless the guy is tossing his cash or ripping you off). The games are part of what matters most, and most gamers agree that Xbox 360's library is better than Playstation 3's selection, but it depends on preference. Many of the P/C's greatest hits debuted on the Xbox 360. Some prefer the Nintendo Wii over Xbox or Playstation due to the complicated bussiness about the other two consoles and they also think they'll get a workout. At any rate, Xbox's popular hit is Halo 3 by Bungie with approximately 8 million copies sold to date. Playstation 3's popular hit is Resistance: Fall of Man by Insomniac games with nearly 2 million copies sold. I won't complain about the individual games of PS3. (More of the best sellers are Assassin's Creed and BioShock) Of the console units themselves, Sony has sold 10.49 million PS3s (1/1/08) and Microsoft with 17.7 million 360s (1/3/08). All this data concludes to that the console Playstation 3 is better than Xbox 360 Arcade or Standard, and equal to the Elite in terms of technology. Consumers have made it clear however that the online services, games, and overall popularity and approval of Xbox 360 is better than Playstation 3, though. Unforgettably the 360 is a better price and value (In my opinion PS3 prices could at least go down some!) And so if you don't already own a system, or you own the Wii, (c'mon the only people who get their money's worth out are the 12 and under) you have somewhat of an idea of what to expect of the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 and it would be my pleasure that you choose the Xbox 360. Information is accurate and is taken from the respective consoles sites.

the best so far??
Odd that PS3 is suffering so far with 0%, especially with the fact that HD-DVD has had massive failure. I voted for the Xbox 360 and think the Wii is a lame attempt at not quite exactly, but you could say "virtual" gaming. Not at all, really- but you know what I mean.

Resistance: Fall of Man 2
Midgets in swimwear! I think it was an excellent idea to have an alien shooter based not in the future* or even modern-day, but in the past. * Star Wars included, despite the whole a "long time ago..." stuff, you've got to concede that its a futuristic franchise

US Presidential Elections
That just will not happen for a number of reasons. They are both Senators, that combo has not won in over 100 years. They are both from states the democrats are going to win anyway so nothing would be gained by having each other. They are both lawyers with no previous business experience and both very liberal. When you pick a VP you need to employ a little strategy. Pick a popular politician from a state whose vote is in play. Or you pick a political icon not in politics. If you are young, pick someone older, if you are older pick someone young. If you are moderate, pick a liberal that will appeal to the left of you party. The VP choice really is not made based on how qualified a candidate is of how good a President they would make, it is all about what they would bring to the campaign. And the other thing is Hillary will not be second chair to anybody. Sounds logical, I don't argue this at all. As for Nader, *sighs* a no-name will not win.

US Presidential Elections
Fair enough - but that doesn't stop you from using your judgment. Even a cursory, speculative glance over the methodologies of any such 'listing' would prove it irrelevant to any serious debate. You posted it, so you must have thought it of some report; my point is that it is not. I will be happy to have you prove me wrong, of course, but having a healthy debate has nothing to do with being 'bureaucratic'; certainly I don't ask you to give a comprehensive report of how that listing occured. Again, nobody's asking you to be a computer. But you are giving no rationale at all, no reason at all, behind why you believe McCain is so far behind. It is not credible at all, at the moment. Anyhow, I caught about half of the debate - Hillary is obviously faster on her feet (or just better prepared) than Obama and is the better in debates, but Obama did enough so that she probably hasn't really pulled ahead significantly. He managed, in the portions I saw, a couple of rousing 'hits' such as the attack on McCain's 100-year-Iraq, which is a nicer direction to go (for Dems) than Hillary's Xerox opener. Texas is surely he last gasp for Hillary (if she only barely wins it, the other states won't be too keen to push on) - I wonder how it got that way in so short a time, but Obama is a good campaigner. Thank you for being more reasonable. As for MY credibility, if YOU have faith in McCain I won't try to diminish your enthusiasim, like I said to i_am_nick, come shower me with I TOLD YOU SOs if McCain wins!

The Decline and Fall of Europe
Okay. I'm just confused - what does America being a 'melting pot' have anything to do with the decline of US or the Europe? How has the melting pot phenomenon influenced the issue in any way? Well, Mod, its cause they think I'm racist.
-
The Decline and Fall of Europe
Yes, but eastern Europeans are often considered to be inferior by racists, so that did not absolve you of suspicion. Yes I did think of that. I'm not referring to Eastern Europeans alone! I hate the Soviets for what they did to eastern Europe snd I'm not a self absorbed American poking fun at anyone disadvantaged. No, I'm sure you didn't think of that, my race! Oh hmmm is he Japanese? Maybe Icelander? Perhaps French Guianan? Or possibly from Yemen? Or how about Chad? Was he descended from the Mongols? Nah I bet hes got Norse blood in him... Oh, at any rate, hes racist!, and trying to mock the third world over the Internet!! For the record, I got German, Swedish, French and Portuguese blood in me, "white" and have a care for others and hate the passive aggressive tactics of the Beijing and Moscow governments, which threaten the U.S. and Europe. That is not an oxymoron, either. How low can you go! Lets limbo, Nightshade!

US Presidential Elections
Think of the list of Prezes how you want, I'm not going to issue a full data report. I'm not a bureacrat. As for McCain, I'm not some computer either, its obvious Clinton or Obama have it well over McCain. I just finished viewing the Prez Debate in Austin. ( ) Clinton did sorta better than Obama. Obama's papers kept being picked up by a fan too. It was civil, Hillary said how honored she was and Obama pulled her chair out for her, which underscored the desire for tensions between them to lessen. It'd be nice when one of them wins that the loser becomes the VP. (Slightly Off-topic: If I was ever in power I'd abolish electoral colleges and superdelegates, etc) Anyhow, . (This is not an image of the 2008 Austin, Texas Debate)

US Presidential Elections
That would be more impressive if you provided the names of some of the historians, as, just like in any other field, you can always find people who have degrees but no real knowledge. Not that I am saying all fifty are ignorant, but people who are experts on presidential history would be better qualified to make a list like the one you mentioned then, for example, a person who focuses on the settlement of the Americas. Sorry, don't have that information. I do have this: Susan Page "Putting Presidents in Their Place" USA Today interview with CSPAN historians (2/21/00). I gave this information originally on this thread. I will find the actual source if I can, ok? I beleive either Obama or Clinton will win. They're both good and because black/woman is a first now in the U.S.... yeah. Also: McCain has a small chance. As for Clinton/Bush 20 years thingee, I'm JOKING. I am also not an ALT. As for SteveThaiBinh, I feel your pain: WHO THE HECK ARE THESE PEOPLE?????
