THE HACKING IS OK DAMN IT.
I enjoyed all the mini games, despite using mouse and keyboard. Felt like you were actually doing something, I also liked that you could use the emp grenade if you inclined to do so. Choice.

The Conspiracy Against Alpha Protocol
No. 1. 2. Numerous CTD. 3. Engine slowdown for no reason. 4. Checkpoint saves not recognizng completed objectives. 5. Guards not disappearing during Parkers mission. 6. Enemies getting stuck in walls. 7. Enemies disappearing after loading a checkpoint. 8. Alt-Tab causing crash. I experienced all of them in one playthrough, so yes this game is buggy. Buggier than previously mentioned games. Again no. I myself prefer AP to Oblivion, Fable 2, FO3. But that does not render me blind to AP problems, which it definitely has. Obviously you haven't played ME, if you had you would know the it's a 3rd person squad based game, compared to AP being a third person stealth based game. While both being action RPGs, they both tring to achive different things. It's like comparing Gears to MGS. As for the Conspiracy against AP..... AP from a purely C&C and interesting characters veiwpoint, is great. However this is a game and the are some serious flaw in it. The RPG mechanics are interesting. Stealth, Martial art, Sabotage and Tech are the highlights, however using pistol makes makes the game too easy, there is no reason to use SMG and Shotguns due to their ineffectiveness. Presentation is poor, music is unremakable, AI is terrible(to be fair all RPG AI is, but in a stealth game this is made more apparent) graphics are average - poor(obviously the PS2 comparison is idiotic, but still not good), animation is poor. UI is inadequate, the lack of hotkeys on the PC port is saddening and as mentioned the game is buggy. Having said all that it might seem that I don't like the game, the bizarre thing is I really like it. The flaws definately take away from the game, but I can't deny I'm really enjoying it. In the end it seems like it's going to be another VTM:B as others have said. In the end it's up to you, by your posts your not one to listen to reviewers(good thing), but look at the posters on this forum even more critically then you do reviewers. Fanboys are rarely objective. From your posts, it seems to me thake you enjoy a good game more then a good story, if that is the case, waiting for AP to drop in price might be in your best interests. But in all honesty I usually hesitate to recommend/discourage games due to peoples taste being so varied.

Warning, Gamersgate has now corrected the error. Not happy since I can't cancel the order.- For the Australians in the audience...

Fable III confirmed for PC- Lost a customer
But that won't effect you, since you are opposed to Sega's DRM and not buying AP, right?- The Reviews
Obviously not but that doesn't mean FO3 fails at that any less. Never said it didn't fail. This caught my attention: Since you have yet to play AP, you can't honestly say this. So do I. But to be fair, I can't remember SoZ having many complaints.- The Reviews
So you have played AP?- What are you playing now?
Tropico 3, picked it up for $7.50 and it was well worth it. Debating on whether I should pick up the expansion.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!
Is Versus XIII an exclusive though? On another note Steam has the Sega complete pack on sale for $89.99, but don't be fooled into thinking AP is part of the pack, because it's not, even though SIE is pictured. Still it's a good deal.- The Reviews
88 is a damn fine score, those that post otherwise sound like the console fanboys that cry when their system exclusive doesn't get a 10/10. What I will find funny, is all those people the like to cry *paid reviews*, will quite happily accept good AP reviews and not mumor anything about *bribed journalists*.- Can you create an entirely new face?
There is no part of this game that hasn't been criticized yet. Last time I saw someone whining about the muzzle flashes of all things. Couldn't find anything worse to complain about could he? Some people just like to complain. Being a regular at this forum, I would of thought you realized that.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!
EA: 2009's 'best' publisher?- Games you are looking forward to.
Don't know if there are any other F1 fans here, but F1 2010 is looking and sounding mighty fine.- What are you playing now?
Enemies no longer attack one-by-one? Your hoping for too much. Still the fact they got rid of those horrible repetitive missions you had to do before assassinating the victim are gone. The customization of Ezio, the upgradeable town, the ability to assassinate your way, all make for a better game. Still a very strange story though.- Fallout: New Vegas
Slowtrain is Crashgirl isn't he? He changed the name so people didn't think he was a girl.- What are you playing now?
Just finished AC2 and it was a lot better then I thought it would be, far superior to the original.- Dragon Age Discussion
Darkspawn Chronicles DLC trailer Q&A with Lead Designer- Games you are looking forward to.
The PR people are paid a lot of money to make sure the game sounds excellent. What else would you expect? Then you must believe the same of AP. Honestly most previews are positive because developers show the best parts of their game. Hype aside though, you can still decide if that game is for you.- Infinity Ward founders canned by Activision
Current count of employees that have left IW is 26. This is now more then just West and Zampella, 26 happy employees don't just up and leave.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!
But remember PB aren't the devs on this one. I'm skeptical on what we will get. - Joy and Sadness
