It should obviously be mentioned that only wussies use that "fix" and those that do won't recieve their copies of DNF when they reach the state of bliss that is gained when one transcends gaming and becomes one with the gamesource. Also I personally really liked firewine ruins as well as the ulcaster ruins because they are the most adveantury-ish locations in BG. Edit: Changed code tags to quote tags.

I just finished The Longest Journey and Dreamfall:TLJ (Thank you steam ) and I think I'm finally ready to join the group of gamers that believe that modern games aren't as good as the old ones as damn TLJ is beyond awesome (if you ignore the crappy puzzles! ). So weren't there supposed to be some news about the future episodic content in like 2 months ago? I guess this means that STALKER has been toppled from the throne of being the game that has me hyped about it, also I'm seriously thinking about incorporating TLJ into my official top some-number-or-the-other games list of awesome games.

+1 For great justice!

Not really. The demo is just that of the first level, with requirements getting steeper and steeper as the game progresses. For many computers, the graphic settings perfect for the first level will be too sluggish for the snow level, I know I experienced this before getting my third 8800 Really? I guess I'm being beaten over the head for using anecdotal evidence. The only thing I've heard about the demo is that it is so long that there is hardly any reason to buy the game. I think my point is still valid as people who pirate to 'try out' the game won't play as far as the alien part and as such will not experience the increased load.

Do they give you a graphics card with that?

It depends, would the buyer receive an actual CD/DVD in their possession, can you play the game offline? There are only very few games out there right now that are downloadable as the only option and as such I doubt any big developer would be able to get rich by making a decision to try and screw over the brick and mortar shops (or whatever the purpose with only download would be). I would imagine that playing offline wouldn't be a problem so long as there is somekind of initial check and possibly a check after so and so much time offline. tl;dr version: just look at steam.

I found an RPG in the Dark Valley and hauled it to my stash in Rostok, I then proceeded to never find a logical place to use it and as such it was a waste of time.

Let's be serious for a minute: would Crytek benefit for a steam-like system to prevent piracy? Surely everyone that are hardcore enough to want to play their graphics heavy games have internet access and enough CPU-cycles to spare for a variant of a steam-system to prevent piracy. Am I right or am I wrong here?

The Great Ubuntu-Girlfriend Experiment
Moatilliatta replied to angshuman's topic in Skeeter's Junkyard
Ubuntu will never dominate until they figure out how to make the games transition smoother. People who don't play games rarely care enough i.e. the average pc-for-work user, and people who play games won't move until games can be played easily and well on Ubuntu. Also I didn't have trouble moving to Vista as I always use the classic interface and the rest is pretty self-explanatory. -

I have absolutely no idea where you're going with this Krezack. Parents are always craming their dogma into their children, it's a natural effect of children living with their parents for some 18 years. Also as Guard Dog said, religious fundamentalism rarely stops at the family level and will always try to do like any other ideology and try to affect the rest of society through the government. Reading that article makes me want to get my brain scanned just to see where I fit in. -
Mount and Blade.

Nah, that would require me actually skills.

There are other choices than sex and in vitro - strange things do happen. I do realize that it is irrelevant for most cases. @D_N Yes, if only them girls could stop being raped all the time the world would be much better. Somehow I wouldn't be surprised if you could get someone somewhere to say that. -
I think he meant that he was looking for a torrent downloading program, which he has been linked to and all is good in the world again.

Would it be redundant for me to state that it is possible to become pregnant without having sex? -
Thanks for posting that as I've been checking for it religiously and then it comes out when I finally forget to check.

As in it looks like it was made 10 years ago or as in the graphics are technologically good but they didn't do anything with it?

Since it seems we share similar views on what constitutes a good mod, what mods would you suggest for BG2? Ascension? As I said I can't remember any other that I've played with though the entire game. I would personally try a new party combination and new possibilities in quests, if there aren't anything vanilla that you haven't tried then I just wouldn't play the game, quite simple really. The Baldurs Gate series is in general too good for mods. I've wanted there to be gameplay mods worth playing because BG gameplay isn't too good, but most mods fall into the cheezyness traps that I hate.
