  1. One of the things I like about the Essence Interrupter bow is the enhancement to bring the critter I killed back as an ally. It is cool to see a former enemy come back as an ogre and start bashing his former friends.
  2. I like the fights in this DLC. My guys are level 20 and for 95% of the fights in this game I just let them go and do their own thing, but in this DLC I usually have to lend a hand. Since all five of them can call in Drakes and Wurms I do that first and then help some more as needed, usually healing.
  3. I find that romancing to be very low key in this game. In Witcher 3 there are several romance scenes with nudity (I can remember three), here there is only flirting words and nothing more.
  4. Why stop playing? Do you only play a game once?
  5. What is your favorite items to use the mythic stones on, weapons or armor and which of each? My favorites are the Essence Interrupter bow and the Chromoprismatic Quarterstaff. I have one stone in my stash and the two new mega bosses to fight so I am expecting two more. Where would you use them?
  6. Still looking for it, I think it is south of Tikawara. I have beaten one of the new mega bosses, the other one is too tough, yet.
  7. I have it now and have the location noted, so ready to begin. Plus two new mega bosses so I will get to see how my level 20 herd does.
  8. Look for that exit where you encounter the spiders, it is at the top of the screen.
  9. There are some scrolls, the really powerful ones, that require 15 arcana. I know because I have several I can't cast because my arcana is only 10.
  10. Ah ha, so that is what the little circle on the bottom edge means. I did not make the connection before.
  11. Of course, using a cheat will disable the achievement for finishing the game.
  12. I think I am perfectly placed for the new DLC Thursday. I have fought one Mega Boss and halfway through the Crucible arena matches. I still have all the contender quests to do throughout Deadfire, one more Mega Boss plus a few of the other game quests such as gather the Wahaki and a couple bounties to collect. My guys are all level 20 now so the timing is perfect.
  13. Even the other pirate leaders don't like, that is why Furrante gives you the quest to take him out. Aleys (spelling) doesn't miss him after he is gone either.
  14. I have seen that and have not found a way to remove them without activating them. I take everyone else away and approach the trap with the PC with the best mechanical skill one step at a time, if he doesn't see it then only one PC is hurt.
  15. Just a little bit. 2 DLCs with one more in a week. 2 Mega bosses and 2 more soon. A couple patches with game upgrades. Other than that, not much.
  16. I don't see the point of this argument. Everyone plays games the way they want to. This is entertainment, nothing more. You are not learning how to be SEALs here, just trying to relax and enjoy yourself. What I like to do, you probably won't and that is okay.
  17. Hasn't been mentioned yet but level 20 is the normal D&D cap, the books don't go any higher than that. As far as money, collect bounties and you will have lots of money from selling your loot.
  18. If you don't like the game, don't force yourself to play. There are lots of games to play, go play them. Dereo's guards are not on a bridge, that is another thug. Dereo gives the Cornet Call quest so if you already have the quest then you have done something out of sequence, probably went to the guy's house before Dereo told you to. As far as the golem at Poko Kohara, I think level 7 might be a little early to face him, I am usually around level 10 by the time I face him and he is actually quite easy to beat. To find Dereo, you get directions from the owner of the inn in the gullet. I am in the middle of my fifth play through the game and I will probably finish before the last DLC comes out next month.
  19. Now at least 3 of us. I have not heard back yet from Obsidian, so I restarted the game and will see if it completes normally.
  20. When I went there the skeletons were either one skull or no skull, don't remember which. A change from my original post but I do remember they were not a challenge, all members of my party were still alive.
  21. An interesting question and I would like a definitive answer as well including the last fight at the end. Since I am close to being able to go to the Crucible again I would like to make the best choice for me.
