  1. They are set for automatic, aggressive action but they ignore it. If I lower the difficulty to normal it happens correctly.
  2. I have started playing that with Berath's Blessings and I have noticed that my companions just stand there when I am attacked and do not respond even when hit. They will only fight when I pick a target for them. How do I get them back to fighting automatically? I would rather not have to micro manage them all the time.
  3. After completing Magran's Maw your steward will inform you that there is a chest on your ship. That is when you can go to the island.
  4. I have beaten them all but you have think pretty much out of the box. Your normal tactics will probably not work. Think of the Seeker, Slayer, Survivor DLC as a prep for them.
  5. What I don't see mentioned yet is that there are items that you can equip that will provide constant healing like the troll belt. The only monk I usually include is Xoti and I equip her with the Chromoprismatic Quarterstaff, mythic of course. This time, though, she is Contemplative.
  6. Very nice and well deserved. Congratulations Oblivion. Their next game, The Outer Worlds, sounds interesting too.
  7. Thanks, I have beaten them in standard difficulty so will see how this goes. Since I just left Port Maje, not going there for a while yet.
  8. Playing this for the first time and the fights are definitely harder, more loot though. Which leads me to a question, are the Mega Bosses harder too? That could make them really challenging.
  9. There is at least one quest I missed because I didn't start it, an item I believe is called the Godseeker. And a modification to a grimoire before giving it back. Don't remember the exact details but I am sure you will here from someone who does.
  10. The faction leader fight has always been an easy fight for me in Ukaizo, but this thread does lead me to a question. The first thing my Herald does in a fight is to call up three Wurms and he does this automatically. So if you have five Heralds, does that mean 15 Wurms in the fight? That could be somewhat overwhelming especially if all your Heralds have the Ancient Memory chant.
  11. Once you have entered a screen, you cannot change the difficulty for that screen. As previously suggested, go back to a previous autosave and lower difficulty. You don't have to go back to the beginning of the DLC, just the save before your current fight. As a hint, always do a quicksave before you select the arena battle.
  12. If you don't enjoy laying the game (it sounds like you don't) then go ahead and finish it and move on to another game. For me, the new DLC added four more days.
  13. I have seen that and if you look closely the trap is visible. I have also stopped being able to pick locks. The text says successful but the door or chest is still locked.
  14. Companions can be killed and sometimes without warning. If you get three red dots on the left side of your avatar, the next one will kill them, period. In a fight I have lost companions because they get all of the dots at one time. The only way you can come back from that is to load your last save and try again.
  15. Just curious what everyone considers the best weapons in the game are. I have two Essence Interrupter bow Chromoprismatic Quaterstaff What are your's?
  16. Little hard to reply intelligently to this vague question.
  17. A lack of advertising is probably a big culprit. I only heard about it at one place, an online D&D game called Critical Role. The other D&D players I have run into have never heard of the game.
  18. The only problem with the console is that it stops all achievement gathering permanently and I still have a few more to get. Since this playthrough is almost over, I'll live with it.
  19. Two of my characters are permanently carrying a venom tag on the right side of the avatar along with other benefits. It says -1% action speed for so many seconds but the seconds do not count down. I have rested both in camp and in an inn and drank antidote but it won't go away. How do I remove that?
  20. My PC is a Herald (Paladin/Chanter) and that is working well for me. He is Coastal Aumaua and if you have finished the game once, you can get Berath's Blessings which can give you +2 on all your stats.
  21. I assume you know where to get the quarterstaff. There are some fights there that you cannot avoid (except with some careful stealth use, maybe). The last event I have seen some hints that it can be resolved peacefully, but that has never worked for me. The best result I have gotten is to save the kid but I have still needed to fight.
  22. I have not been very good at distracting them by knocking the books over so quite a few I have had to kill. Interestingly enough, librarians in other rooms do not automatically become your enemy if you have killed some.
  23. I have two ways of destroying sigils, Alotha casting fireballs or my PC using the Essence Interrupter bow.
