Since Josh has updated his twitter with his location being a town in the Valian Republic, it seems plausible that's where we'll go next. For the long term, I hope they won't be afraid to move the PoE world to different timelines. I would love to see Eora move forward technologically and explore what impact that could have. Similiarily, I wouldn't mind going backwards in its history either. If they're willing to make some spin-offs and such, I imagine there's a greater chance for this.

Generally speaking, I tend to lean more towards shorter RPGs nowadays. I like it more when all the effort is put in short, but highly reactive, games so to speak with little to no filler content. However, I do hope that Pillars as a series continues to give us the really big experience. I just finished my playthrough of PoE plus the two expansions and overall I think it was a great experience that felt like a true journey, despite there being some ups and downs. If there are spin-offs and such, then I would certainly welcome shorter games but for any full-on sequels, I hope they'll continue with the huge scope.

I also like Sagani quite a bit. Edér is probably my favorite companion of the bunch but I liked Sagan's personality and the way she dealt with her problems a lot. I kinda read it like she has that snarky and funny side but the facade is kinda cracking a bit, the hunt for Persoq is taking its toll on her. Not sure if I read that into her or if it's really *there* so to speak but the end of her quest is quite touching in my opinion. All that build up for her, and then all of a sudden, the object of her search is right there in front of her. And then, how the hell do you deal with something like that? And of course, what happens afterwards? I dunno, I found it very well done.

The Witcher Extended Edition, Should I play it?

Given that it's enormously cheap on sales, I'd definitely give it a try. Even if the story or gameplay doesn't grab you, its atmosphere is something worth experiencing for sure. It's the best game in the series in my opinion. -

Agree with that. As it is, it just seems a waste to bring her at the moment if one looks at it from a story/companion perspective. -
Mainly playing Darkest Dungeon at the moment. Waiting for White March 2, although... of course it looks like I'll be moving just around the time it'll drop so it'll probably be a while before internet and all that is setup at my new place. Goddamnit. Also playing some of the Torment: Tides of Numenera beta. Though I'm trying to take it real slow, don't want to play it to death before the final version comes.

This is just too good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWZxXExlqrw

Kinda waiting for the White March part 2 right now. Still a month away, bleh. Replaying Shadowrun Hong Kong at the moment, greatly enjoying it. Might replay Dragonfall once I'm finished with this.

CG Muppet Voldemort and his trusty servant Kylo Ren who throws temper tantrums, slicing up equipment with his lightsaber and can't even manage to overpower two people who've never touched a lightsaber before, even though he's fast enough to deflect laser blasts and can freeze people (and laser blasts for that matter) in mid-air. What a team!

If that means God and heaven are as toothless, non-offensive, boring and *safe* as the Force Awakens, by all means, send me straight to hell.

Saw The Force Awakens. Really disappointed in that it turned out to be a fanboy movie. I liked the humor in it, and the new characters were all-right (but felt pretty flat, Han Solo pretty much was the heart of the movie) but the rest of it was completely forgettable. I'll take the prequels over this any day of the week. With all their failings, you at least got the sense that they wanted to do... *something* with it. The Force Awakens is soulless, lacking an identity of its own. But it all looks like the old movies so it's got to be GREAT right! Wohoo! Urgh..

I only keep Grieving Mother around for her questline (which has a great concept I think and goes pretty dark). Aside from that, she's never in my party. Since she has no banter and most of her interjections tend to be "I SENSE something here" spiritual character stuff which I've grown tired of, it's a no no for me. -

I really liked Sagani's moment when you finally find Persoq. I found that quite touching. Also liked Pallegina's little interaction with Hylea.
