  1. I'm not sure how this will turn into an argument... But I'm confident that it will.
  2. I must have tempered my expectations very well, because I haven't found Outer world's particularly short. Mind you, I am reading all the terminals and exhausting most of the dialog options. I must be at least 20 hours in and have just arrived at Byzantium. If you skip dialog and don't interact with your companions. Yes this game is short. Though if that's the way you want to play, this game may not be for you. Luckily there are a ton of games that are padded with endless fetch quests for you to sink your teeth into. No judging from me.
  3. Honestly the only thing that bothers me is the enemy AI... Early on I just walked up to marauders wondering if I could talk to them. They didn't notice me until I was literally close enough to talk... Even then it took a second for them to turn around.
  4. Really? By having maxed out intelligence in New Vegas I found I could pretty much be amazing at everything. I will agree though that people are giving this game a lot of love(more than I thought they would). Most likely because people are starving for a decent choice driven FPS RPG. I mean... What games in the last 5-10 years have even tried? I can't think of many.
  5. Someone needs to get further in the game. At the beginning the skill checks are really low and easy. However, later on there are lots of locks and hacks I've been locked out of due to only having 50-60 skill points. Once you get to 50 you really do have to specialize . I will say that science/engineering/the other one are a waste of points so far. Would be nice if they were more common. I feel like people tend to compare this to "other games" without actually giving examples of games that do it better.
  6. Third person would be cool. I more so meant not isometric than specifically first person. If they did pillars like dragon age where you can change the camera view between third and isometric id still count that as an isometric game(or at least a good compromise). But if it's a game that is just third person then the difference between that and first person is quite small.
  7. Anyone who posts on an official forum for a game, saying that it's bad, is looking for a reaction. So in that sense, yes. Really depends on your definition of 'troll'.
  8. Well according to metacritic this game is either a 10/10 or a 0/10
  9. Me too. I feel like if they go first person with POE that's the end of the isometric POE... Which I don't want. I suppose they could still do both, just don't see that happening.
  10. Time to beat this dying horse. If TOW only has fetch quests, then all RPGs are fetch quests. Dragon age Inquisition was way worse for quest variety. Collect 500 shards collect paintings, collect collect collect. The only part of inquisition that I think of as different is the masquerade party... Even that you have to collect secrets but at least it seemed to diverge from the straight forward quests the rest of the game had. This game isn't perfect. If you want to criticize the AI for being pretty bad. I'll take that point. Or the general length of the main story, yup got a point. Most negative reviews I've seen, really seem like they either played for an hour and quit, or they just watched an hour of a playthrough.
  11. Personally I'd rather see a first person rpg of tyranny than POE... Don't get me wrong, I love POE but I feel like Tyranny would be a great fit for first person. That being said... I know it won't happen. I can dream. Can't I?
