Scordeo + Grave Calling is sick combination. Magistrate's Cudgel with Scordeo is hilarious against kith. Rusts Poignard is okeyish but not spectacular as others on monk.Past lv 19 Ajamuut Stalking Cloak is a must have plus that flail from SSS(AoE will damage You for wounds and with that cloak it will stunt too with WotW). For beating Belranga that sabre from fire dragon lair is extremely useful, it heals on crit and you will crit a lot against small spiders, take blunderbus in other hand for stacking resonance, spam WotW and explode her. Look more on what on crit or on kill effects weapon have(meteoric, knockdown, paralyze, DOTs, silence) if the enemy isn't immune for certain dmg because you will crit a lot with SC monk. Consider pushing Arcana to 13 for scrolls of Avening Storm.

@brasilgringo I am running monk with shark soup (I need +1PL for total +3PL, every 3PL Transcendent Suffering jumps +4 acc +1 pen, plus nice immunities), for INT affliction there is always Modwyr, for RES I pick Eviee to downgrade, PER 3rd tier affliction is not a hard cc.

I don't think there is something unusual in this monk besides massive stack of food and drink (picture), i would not be suprised if he went whole nine yards and stack every meal and drink in Eora i have hard time to stack shrine blessing. yep, i use it on some harder encouters to jump into next lv with transcendent suffering (+26acc +7pen), +3 PL is needed (food, prestige, stone)

Vote for SC monk from me. Especially if You don't intend to solo. As Boeroer said multiclassing monk with martial class for DPS is the wrong way to do it. You can reach lv 19 and Whisper of the Wind before Hasongo, plenty of low hanging fruits in terms of xp. I did a checkup of records (for fun) before and after eotens guarding Street Sweeper (PotD), 3x WotW and 1x Stunning Surge (plus hits from rooting pain) resulted in 30 hits, 64 crits and almost 3k damage with a bit optimized build. If you want to tank you can WotW with large shield with modal on (WotW have bonus to acc from Ability and Power Levels ) or for DW with that monk shield and Kapana Tanga and some high AR armor and Iron Wheel. example of WotW acc https://imgur.com/a/TMXtW3s

Yep, I've did it on Spiritualist (trubadour/soul blade) and Grave Calling (kill own skeli with SA). Chillfog that can regen focus with high Acc from Borrowed Inst and can interrupt and paralyze on crit is fun but besides that a bit meh for me, classes competed too much with each other, action economy sucks.

Transcendent (monk/soul blade) is not to shabby, can debuff and pump some nice numbers too. With selfbuffs can take a hit or two. Secret Horrors with high INT from wounds can shut down enemies for looong time, borrowed instinct is one of the best buffs and on top of that disintegration on weakened by your crits enemies. Edit. And "permanent" +3 pen as a nice bonus, not to mention you should not run out of resources in longer fights

It can be tricky to one shot enemies in dlcs, they are bloated in hp. Even injured. If you want to play assassin it's better to burst one or two enemies, drop some DOTs and reset the fight. It's fun

I don't know IDs but Fampyrs Cave, Frightened Child (FS) and some ecounters with vithraks from FS can be more challanging (a lot of disintegration spamming). And there are megabosses too if You want test lv20 party.

Yep, considering other nerfs (needed or not, severe or light depending on personal opinion) it's more like a slight hinderence. Build is still extremely strong.
