I absolutely did and it absolutely did. Island amaua + Deadfire background is my favorite playthrough so far, by a wide margin. ah that's what I'm playing too right now! Lot of different dialogue for them . Worth a try!

or the exuse of 'can't wear Helmet' . That doesn't bother me personally , since when I play another race they can wear helmet but I always hide it anyway and then completely forget about it . Pfff beauty is in the eye of the beholder . My godlike could have a frog face and I still gonna parade around proudly!

*Sigh* I love godlike . But I admit....kinda dissapointed in the lack of customization for them . For my 1st , I went death godlike cose they are my favorite . While everyone yell 'Berath!!' at every turn . She was a priestess of Eotha . I also wanted to make a nature godlike but..as I said..the customization kinda turned me off . But I do plan on making a fire godlike and go Magran Priestess! she be hot headed , reckless and Passionate! Burning totally! I also gonna make a Death god for Berath just to see it for myself (and I kinda like Berath ) . Yeah , tragic background is fun . Back in POE1 , I made an orlan slave and it was a lot of fun . Right now I'm playing a different kind of 'Tragic' . I have an Aumauna and she is an aristocrat background , but I'm role playing her as someone who ditched her roots due to the politic and corruption and bickering . And is back but not happy about being back . The dead archipalgo is a home she hated and wanted to leave behind . I do love those background , you can think up small story just from 'merchant , raider , explorer , drifter..etc' .

same here . I just walked there and then someone stopped me and you get a quest . You can end the dialogue 'Farewell' and walk back to the surface . Was kinda dissapointed that the only exit was trough them...Urgh .

Did you have him with you on the drifiting ship and Ori o Koiki? If not, you should. I did . When I found the ship he was in my party . The only part where I didn't have him with me , was in a quest with sick Tree . Don't know if you re-call it . Where you can use a druid to heal them . Just before you get to this area with sick tree , you meet the tribal and he should've been with me . But I had Tekehu instead . I could be wrong , but I'm gonna try and take him with me at that quest and see if that is what made it bugged or not .

Aloth quest 'The Painted Mask' is bugged . The LEADER you need to talk to is bugged . She does not move from her throne to retire at night . And I never got the option to do what need to be done regarding her *READ HER SOUL) so I could NOT finish his quest . Also , it probably bugged the slider for some reason for Aloth , cose it acted as if I finished the quest when I never did and was still in my journal as active . This quest is bugged . Name of the quest : The Painted Mask . Companion : Aloth . That's fine, but that thread was more about the bugs in companions relationship system not quests related to companions. You may wanna make a new topic about this in tech support section. well technicly it's companion related . Personal quest is due to relationship going positive and all . But I do that..sorry !

no . It was on my nice goody goody playtrough . I didn't kill anyone (not even that dumbass pirate at the beginning who attacked my ship) . And I was nice , I reloaded and tried all 3 reply and she still doesn't give me any 'read my soul' option . When I pick the question about the leaden Key , she doesn't reply . When you ask her about the meaning of the Tattoo (She just say there are more pressing matter) . All of this is tied to the Painted Mask for Aloth . So I'm guessing it's bugged . Yea, perhaps. Have you tried talking to Aloth about everything again after you found the drifting ship with Leaden Key mark but before going to Ori o Koiki? yeah I did . Nothing . I hope you don't mind , but I posted in that thread link you been posting . cose you said to report it..and I don't know how to do that . Like I pointed in my previous post , this tribe..you meet some of them in a previous quest . Supposedly Aloth will recognize the Tattoo . And that will lead you to this quest . But I didn't have him with me . I'm gonna give another playtrough and see if that is the cause of this issue . I report when I get there and see if it make any difference .

no , for me the option isn't there . And it's Aloth quest that dragged me there . The option to read her SOUL is NOT there . All I got in the journal is 'Look around for a clue'' . And like the guy above , the queen never go to sleep . I rested , I reloaded . Nothing . And once you talk to her..that is it . You can't talk to her again , she only say a floating text 'Don't step closer!' .

Oh come on, don't you miss the 'levels' that are basically a landing between staircases? I miss Diablo ! Now that you could call it endless !

Look..upgrade your ship . Pause the game , find the ship you need to chase and click it . I did the quest and I wasn't attacked . And if you do get attacked , you can always try to evade them .

as long as it's endless for real...cose the old dungeon..wasn't so endless...

if they did it like Diablo 1....that would have been so much fun . There were part of the dungeon I liked..but in the end it was a just grinding area (which I don't care for grinding , I have boring MMO for that) .
