  1. Name some more. Ones that aren't the usual fanboy bull****. Say something intelligible, and based on fact. For instance, do the exact opposite of what I just did, which wasn't too bright. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not having to deal with Japanese games for the most part? "Toshi! We have to rescue the Princess from the Okadameleon!" "Okay! I'll get in my macross gundam and contact Bubblegum Command!" "Great! I'll take the leopard through the marmalade trees!" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Subjective (I agree though)

  3. You seem bitter. Perhaps you require a "Stick From Ass Removal Kit". Muuuuch better than anything I could do with paint. No idea what the hell it is though...
  4. Graphically speaking, yeah, it's superior. In terms of controllers, that's subjective, as is the number of "good" games. Oh, and the Halo movie should be at least decent.
  5. Suuuuure "
  6. Um...If you haven't played Starcraft (Linky), try it out. A classic, yet aging, RTS. Or maybe Homeworld 2 (Linky) For FPS...maybe Call of Duty 2 (Linky) I got it on wednesday and I'm loving it so far, dearly. Multiplayer is a big part, so if you don't have a highspeed connection, don't bother. RPG...Bloodlines (Linky) if you haven't gotten it.
  7. Well, think about it. Would a 40-year-old mother of 3 know to look for those specific files when she barely knows how to print? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, but when I have kids I will. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I weep for your children's attempted forays into the internet porn industry. :'( Don't worry, there'll be different files, and different ways around "parental controls" by the time you (not you personally) pop out a few broodlings.
  8. Lamest Inf- ... ... ****. The screens are pretty, and yes, Volo, it's quite obvious SP means NWN 2. No need to get so uptight about it. Some things you just need to let go...it's healthier that way. Steve, that FX5200 should get you low to mid range settings. Mus, I'd be up for multi if people were ok with me playin', and SP, great find.

  10. I still insist she would've been better than whoever we're likely to end up with. Keep in mind this was pressure from ultracons, not pressure from the moderates and left. Well, the latter two groups certainly disagreed, but Bush doesn't really pay attention to them, anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if the next nominee suggests implementing Klan hoods as the standard headware. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm in agreement. This certainly doesn't bode well for basic freedoms...or....you know....thinking for oneself.
  11. I'm left handed in this particular area " That, and I DO wash my hands, regardless of what you may or may not have heard, you silly forty-something-year-old.
  12. Wasn't this a thread about the Halo movie and not about lame ass arguments regarding consoles that are both, by all rights, completely obsolete in every sense of the word even as I type this? For god sakes, X360 is just around the corner, and PS3 is just around the block. Give it a rest. Instead, focus your energy on this new, better arena of console-related flaming warfare. On that note, PC owns all. Now, abut the Halo movie. I heard mention of AvP 2....did the development team of AvP 2 have anything to do with the movie? As far as I know...No. Bungie is overseeing everything, and I'm pretty sure, as part of the movie deal, nothing they don't want in the movie will get in. I have hopes for this...and will go see it upon its completion...if only to see MC and Elites on the silver screen. That, and I haven't seen a good sci-fi action flick in a while...Serenity aside.
  13. Yup, I'd rather risk that my kid see some breasts than a decapitation.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's what I've been saying for the better part of 5 years. Then again, I was twelve at the start of this campaign, and was frantically searching for a way to justify the vast number of porn sites my mom found logged in her Internet Explorer history folder. :"> Since then, I've learned. For instance, clear the history after every use and delete all cookies. Though it doesn't really matter anymore, and hasn't for a couple years now................................................ I think I'm tired.
  14. Not my very first, but my true first was a list of things I'd liked to have seen in KotOR 2...Dooooon't think I've changed much...my posts just got shorter. And back to things of interest.
  15. I think it's dumb. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well said. Oh, and Seconded.
  16. The PS1 had a different GPU chipset than the PS2 (I'm pretty positive )....they didn't seem to have too much of a problem.
  17. You didn't read the story, did you <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No... :"> I'm busy with a lot of stuff...and...............ok, not an excuse...hello edit button. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I still love you <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sort of extreme...go for leg shots, then it's not attempted murder . But, yeah, agreed.

  19. Again.......what the hell is wrong with people? I can understand food, but what about a hurricane hitting your home merits stealing a 50 inch plasma?
  20. Hmmm...only 5.77 gigs of Pron......................Where did I go wrong? Edit: Oh, and 120 gigs of just stuff.
  21. Define "everything".
  22. Oblivion - Fantastic, everything they've promised us - I loved how arrows were effected by physics. Archery will actually require skill to use. I got to mess around with the beginning stages of the game, got some weapons, saw the radiant AI in use with some rats, and then with some NPC's - it is in effect for everything. The rats actually ran from trouble (not from you, but from something else) - totally awsome. Framerate wasn't totally nailed down yet, there were a couple of times it dipped a bit, but the dev there told everyone that the framerate would be ironed out by launch. The graphics are incredible, the forest is so believable looking, especially when you see it in real time. The way the trees sway. The combat, while not revolutionary, was vastly superior than in Morrowind, and pretty much every other FPRPG game out there. You have more attack options, and the combat is more "twitch" style, when you having to block on your own and striking when the time is right. Hitting an opponent while they block leaves you open to being pummeled. Condemned - The sleeper hit of this first wave of launch titles for next-gen. The engine is incredible, the combat is very realistic, as are the graphics, sounds, and gameplay itself. Some people may not like the crime invesigative tone to the game, but it's really cool. The guy you play is scared of the dark, and a lot of the game puts you in intense situations. It was far too loud to hear all the creepy noises, but there occasions where a guy would just jump out from around a corner and start beating on you. The game itself is, again, very realistic, but it did take it a little too far, IMO. You can only carry one weapon at a time, whether it's a gun, or a crowbar. Improvised weapons are there, so you can pull a pipe off the wall and start beating someone with it if you need to. Guns have limited ammo, and some guns you pick up may only have 1-2 shots in them. Plus, with the melee wepaons, you can block. Texture work was very impressive - game totally shocked me. It went from "I don't really care about this game" to a "must buy this game the day it comes out". It was so impressive, I'm glad it's a multiplatform release, so people that aren't getting a X360 can have the chance to play this game. Call of Duty 2 - WOW. This game was brilliant. The dev said they were using all three cores - one for graphics processing with the GPU, one for AI, and one for effects and physics. It showed. The game was butter smooth, and intense. The AI was great, especially for a shooter. I don't like FPS all that much, I do play a few from time to time. This one, I'll definately rent, and go from there. War games are stale to me now, there's been too many of them, and quite frankly, I've had enough. I really wish these guys would get a little more innovative with their products. But, for a war game, and for a shooter, it's the best one out there, and one of the best FPS ever, in my opinion. Need for Speed - Dull. Had I played this before PGR3, I might have felt different. But it's just too tedious. Framerate was laughable, the game was hard to watch, since it was so choppy. Classic EA crap, if you ask me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ok, my interest has been piqued...though I can get Oblivion, NFS:MW, and CoD 2 for PC, pretty soon too. CoD 2's demo runs seamlessly, on max settings...so do you guys think Oblivion will be the same, or at least similar in performance?

    a moment

Were there a limit on "goodness" I suspect that I won't live past my thirties. What with all the door holding, advice giving, hugging, and giving (especially with money...basically, if it'll put a smile on your face, and i've got the cash with me, it's yours). Modest, eh? So should I stop doing stuff like that if I want to live longer? Just seeing a big, sincere smile from somebody due to my efforts is worth knocking off a couple dozen moments.
  24. Some of these are just....odd. In a good way.
