  1. Yeah. But they could have easily put him in on LS and let him have no major effect on the overall storyline. Just some guy that tells you about himself and what happened in the past ten years.
  2. Canderous in K1 says that the Sith came to the Mandalorians with an offer.
  3. You can always switch characters while you are there.
  4. Who's to say that Palpatine is not a True Sith. Sometimes you mustn't get the EU and OT/PT confused, they are totally different. Palpatine in the EU might not be considered a true Sith because of the "Sith Species" that was extinct but he might be in the movies. And as for the Canderous thing, I said it first looooong time ago " Who's to say that the Sith that came to Canderous were not the True Sith. Canderous says that these Sith that came to him with the offer retreated back to their Empire and sealed themselves off but he got confused with Revan and Malak coming back as the Sith as he says that he thought it would have been longer before they came back... actually I think he was right because they will reveal themselves in K3. And listen to what Carth has to say on Citadel Station when he meets the Exile, he says that Revan believes that something was behind the Mandalorian War and it was not the Mandalorians choice to attack and that he went to stop it. This now ties together the facts that it had to be the True Sith that came to the Mandalorians.
  5. I think is more likelly that Kreia was on malachor with Revan or even before him. this way it makes sense when Vrook teels her that he tought she died in mandalorian wars... also during the game there is a general impression that Kreia was there during the battle. If Kreia is also Kae then she was for sure with Revan at Malachor and probably chose to estabilish there after the battle. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Where do get this stuff from? It's clear that Kreia discovered Malachor after Revan. The Mandalorian Wars was not only on Malachor, it spanned many worlds, Kavar, yes it was Kavar and not Vrook, probably thought she died someplace else. I don't know why people think Kreia is Kae. I just don't see the connection
  6. I wish there were easier ways to get the named robes and Malak's armor.
  7. As I understand it, Revan found the ancient sith ruins that became the Trayus Academy on Malachor during the Mandalorian War and took it over for her cause when she turned into a Sith. Revan probably put Kreia in charge of the place, using it to convert fallen jedi into sith and train assassins. Don't know if it was actually called Trayus Academy from the beginning though or if Revan/Kreia gave it that name after they took it over. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nah. Kreia found the Trayus academy after Revan. She was drawn there, like Nihilus and Sion, after the destruction of Malachor and Revan used it to convert the last of the Jedi and others in his fleet or "cleaning house" as HK puts it.
  8. Seconded. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thirded. :D I think Malak was the better Sith Lord. Kreia just wasn't evil, she was grey. And when she did pick up the title of Darth Traya it was only to complete the Exile's training. I really like Malak, he was very cool despite his lack of popularity in the KotOR community. He destroyed two planets, destroyed the Jedi academy on Dantooine and turned Bastila to the Darkside to become his apprentice, not to mention he nearly killed Revan, Bastila and her crew. That's quite a resume. What did Kreia do as a Sith Lord... get beat up by Nihilus and Sion. Whenever Kreia was pulling the strings it was not as a Sith Lord because not only did she kill the Masters but the Lords as well, while she was grey.
  9. No, I don't mean Sidious as in plotting. I mean Sidious as a Sith. I understand that a lot of people here think that the "true sith" are a bunch of Nihilus's but that would be dumb since they care nothing for power and just want to satisfy their hunger, that's not very Sith like. When I think of "true Sith" I think of someone like Palpatine who was not trained by Jedi and then fell but was trained by a Sith and was evil to begin with. Yeah, that's the obvious explanation given what Canderous says in K1. If you think about it the Mandalorians were located on the Outer Rim and started their war on the Outer Rim. I'm pretty sure that the "true Sith" contacted them out there to get the ball rolling. My question is did they anticipate Revan finding out about them.
  10. Well, I figure I might as well answer the original topic. I know some of these have been answered already, but I'm going to answer them anyway. 1) They were fought by the Mandalorians. According to Canderous, the Sith gave them a challenge that they could not turn down. Most people just assumed that it was refering to Exar Kun, but KOTOR II throws a new light on it. They attacked from 3 'vectors' and started hitting Rim worlds first. I'm not going into detail about the Wars right now... I'm too lazy. 2) They were trained AFTER the War, when they were reduced to petty mercenaries. They fought for the Sith, mostly, and would naturally have undergone anti-Jedi training. Revan gave the order to the Exile to detonate Malachor, wiping out much of the Republic Fleet stationed there, which was made up of people that may not have trusted Revan so much. The Exile formed bonds willy-nilly, so he felt the deaths of so many on a much more personal level. It was almost like dying thousands of times over, I'm sure. That is why they cut themselves off from the Force: to protect themselves. If not, then they would have gone insane and died. 3) The Mass Shadow Generator is some form of gravity 'flux' thingy, that wiped out the Mandalorians and most Republic troopers near Malachor. It basically destabilized the planet, as far as I can tell. Probably screwed up the magnetic field. 4) I stated what the Mass Shadow Generator is in the previous answer. This is just information picked up from the game, so some pieces may be missing. And about the Sith thingy... The 'True Sith' are different, though nobody can be positive how until Kotor III comes out (LA, if you're reading this: I'm boycotting Star Wars games until Kotor III is for sure in development and we know it won't be rushed  ). If I missed a question, lemme know. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's pretty good. The Mandalorians conquered the Outer Rim worlds first and started to stockpile supplies while the Council tried to "analyze" the threat. After they stocked up they struck in 3 adjacent sectors and probably were dang near unstoppable until Revan joined. I think the true Sith are somewhat like Sidious because, after all, they were the ones who told the Mandalorians to start a war and then that led to another war. The theory I posted before K2 came out was more detailed about their actions.
  11. Yeah it was Vandar.
  12. You could be right. Everyone thought Atris was dead but she was DS anyways.
  13. No he never said Vandar it was the other Jedi master from KOTOR can't remember his name either the Twi'lek or the Librarian. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He did. Ask him about it on Dantooine and then on Dantooine for the second time. One of those times he says "Zhar and Vandar" and another he says "Zhar and Dorak". Unfortuantely Vandar is dead but I hope they bring back some kind of Yoda ling and hopefully we can see him in action (w00t)
  14. I don't think Revan went to Malachor 5 because Kreia was there. I think he went after and when M5 was destroyed Kreia then went there and was turned to the DS. This is a good topic though. I would have to say that it is a bit confusing why Mandalore, or Canderous, is so eager to destroy the Revager and what it is he has been waiting 10 years to do. If you say Revan was DS and unlock Mandalore's story it seems that he wants Revenge against Revan for nearly killing him. But as many people have already said: Mandalore wants to help the Exile destroy the Sith for his own personal reasons.
  15. There's no rational way to explain fantasy. You either believe it, or not. And all of the Jedi masters knew about force bonding, it's just none of them had heard of one that could be potentially lethal. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not only the masters but the Disciple as well. When you describe the effects of the force bond he is dumb founded as well.
  16. I wouldn't mind seeing a real time combat based RPG Star Wars game like Kingdom Hearts.
  17. The Ebon Hawk was sent back to keep out of harms way. I don't think Revan was looking for help and that's why he went to the Unknown regions by himself. T3 took it upon himself to find the Exile or was influenced by Carth or Bastila to find someone, because of the messages found in T3.
  18. Maybe it was glitch for me but I was able to buy that part numerous times from Kodin.
  19. She does have a strange bond to you my guess is because you share something in common (both exiles). You had two masters Master Kavar, and Lord Revan. If you goto korriban you can even see yourself standing behind revan. I dont understand the relivance of this vision though. Obsidian shouldve made you talk to revan and either accept revan as your master and the dark side your cause or kavar and the path of a jedi. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LOL Kavar and Revan were not the Exile's masters. Kavar wanted to take the Exile as his padawan but the call for war stopped that. Revan wasn't really the Exile's master but someone that he followed in the time of the Mandalorian war. And to other posters that say that Kreia and the Exile have a bond makes no sense to me. I don't understand how the force can flow through two indvidiuals who were stripped of the force and cannot feel themselves. There might have been a bond but it was forced and faked. Like I said before no one in the game have any idea of this "bond" that was created.
  20. Your guess is as good as mine if you are talking about the Ebon Hawk. From what I can gather the crew is Kreia T3 and some droids, although the Peragus miners and Harbinger crew members say that 'everyone' on the Ebon Hawk are dead. I think Kreia took control of it and went to find the Exile. And at the end it goes to, I believe, drop off the crew members: Atton, Brianna, etc, so that the Exile can go find Revan.
  21. I played again and I think I remember that Carth said that Revan said that he or she would return but it's been four years, but other than that I don't think anyone says he will return. I do remember the whole argument about Revan creating 50 assassination droids and I still stick to my point that there was not 50 droids made. I'm sure I'll be going back to K1 just to hear HK's and Canderous stories.
