I wouldn't even entertain the idea of buying the game for the single player unless you knew for certain that you had a buddy or two to play online co op with and even then the experience is a one time deal and only mediocre at best as well as being short. The story is ridiculously stupid so I wouldn't expect anything out of it except frustration especially the end. Halo 3 has only one good quality and that is the multiplayer and even then it's wrought with problems such as horrible maps and an even horriblerer community and freakin bs you have to have all the map packs to play team doubles which is the only thing worth freakin playing seeing as team slayer and mlg is jam packed full of noobs and tards and there's no escape.

Reading Deraldins post I imagine a fit middle aged women in tight pants and a leather jacket holding a tommy gun standing over a dead cuban man who tried to wrong her in a coke deal riddled with bullet holes and hundreds of shell casings littering the floor. Your mom is pretty bad ass dude.

We opened all our presents tonight, Christmas Eve. I basically got an assortment of clothing items and I got my mobile 1 TB porn collector 9001 deluxe delivered yesterday which I initially thought were the shoes I ordered considering the thing took literally less than 24 hours to ship. The thing is absolutely gorgeous but I'm going to wait to try her on for tomorrow. Movies, pr0n, anime, pr0n, non gay pr0n, extra non gay pr0n, funnies pictures I've collected from the internets, pr0n I've collected from the internets, and various other files relating to pr0n and other pr0n like things. My friend is also going to let me borrow fallout 3 and then after his bro finishes fable 2 I'll probably borrow that as well from him. Then tomorrow I will hopefully awake to a nice cup of coffee and some sausage, hashbrowns, and eggs. Should be nice.

New Years were having cornish game hens. I'm deciding whether to go with a citrus or asian inspired marinade, either way it should turn out alright but I've never dealt with these things before. As for Christmas my mom is going to make prime rib....again, even though every freakin year I tell her not to becuase number 1 she sucks at "cooking" and number 2 prime rib is something that should be done by a professional who has the tools and technique, none of which we have. We don't even have a freakin meat thermometer or at least one that is anywhere near half reliable. I'm freakin angry. Edit: We made fruit pizza in cooking/nutrition class. Just another reason to hate vegetarians. And yes vegetarians should be hated. Horrible people.

Tropic Thunder I seem to recall this movie having a lower rt rating than it actually has so going into the movie I didn't have any real expectations but I was very pleasantly surprised with how funny and well acted the film was. I will admit it had the silliness that is present in most Ben Stiller films but that's also kind of his charm and I ended up really enjoying the film, I mean it was actually really funny. I thought it did an excellent job capturing Hollywood and parodying a lot of what is wrong with the business (not that I'd know but I'm sure Stiller does) and the cast really did an awesome job doing what they needed to do. Cruise plays a character like once a decade that is complete magic and we had a serious glance of it here. Reminded me of his performance in Magnolia and it was awesome. Besides some odd musical choices and Cruise dancing at the end I have to say the film was pretty good. Probably the best comedy I've seen of '08 and in the top 5 movies I've seen this year. I'm actually tempted to watch it again tomorrow. I give Tropic Thunder a gracious 938.999~ out of 1000. Often over the top, sometimes too much, but a damn fine comedy.

It's times like those in which you need a hearty "DAMN YOU KEVIN SPACEY!!!"

Rough Cut (also known as A Film is a Film?!!?) This was another Korean film and it was pretty good. The plot is pretty simple, first you got Soo Ta who is a prideful bastard of an actor who regularly gets in all sorts of trouble. After punching out the actor playing opposite him in his latest gangster film, production is stopped and no one will fill the role. Soo Ta takes matters into his own hands and recruits a real gangster after one chance encounter, Gang Pae who is #2 in his organization (some kind of twist on gang ster or something...), under one condition: That the film be as realistic as possible, which includes the various fight scenes and what not throughout. I gotta say one thing that really surprised me about this film was the music. They threw in some crazy jazz in a few parts that some how actually fit and it was pretty neat. The fighting, premise, development, and characters as well as the overall film were quite enjoyable however some of the subplots were a little unnecessary, confusing, or just plain wtf? It was like you have these main cast of characters you're getting into and then all the sudden a minor character steps in and completely steals the story for their 15 minutes. It just kind of took away from the pacing but w/e it didn't ruin the movie or anything. However the thing that really annoyed me was the ending. I mean I thought we had an ending and I would have been cool with it even if they let the loose string dangle but nope they had to get to that string and beat it to death in an alley with an antique Buddha. I wish they would have just been more discreet and everyone could have lived happily ever after. :'( I give Rough Cut an 8.975 non half real rape scene in a movie inside of a movie out of 10.

The Fall. The movie is similar to Pan's Labyrinth in that it centers around a young girl and fantasy story telling. The fantasy elements, style, and real world setting were interesting but I just don't know. It seemed like it was lacking something. Either way I give The Fall an 8.249 out of 10.

I got a 30% but that list is trash. Half the movies were made when my gramps was probably around my age. Horrible.

Eh sounds like she was negligent in her own right as well. I'd pay half becuase she's an idiot.

THIS IS NO FREAKIN CHERISTMAS MIRACLE!?!?!? :'( It didn't snow like at all last night and it's slightly sunny but overcast so the snow is somehow staying but able to roll through so I think I have to freakin go into work. Damn you kevin spacey.

Omg. Probably the best day of my adult life. We snowboarded and recycle bin "boarded" behind my brothers friends suburban and it was sweet. I've only snowboarded once before and sucked horribly but it was pretty easy but like the truck would pull really hard and then slow down and the roads were really inconsistent since we had drove through them a bunch of times so it was like snow mounds and then almost straight asphalt so I ate S like twice and the second time I was out in the middle of the street and they were trying to pull around and his truck sounded like it died and it wouldn't move for like 5 minutes until they got it out the snow and rescued me. It was pretty awesome but extremely freakin cold and wet.

It's snowing in vegas.....It's SNOWING IN VEGAS. And I don't mean like "omg a few flakes" no it's snowing in f'in vegas like for real. Easy 2 and a half inches so far in my back yard. My moms work was closed down early becuase there was like a foot of snow. It's snowed like maybe 3 - 4 times in like the entire 20 years I've been alive and living here and every time it's been very measely like quarter an inch at most but this is like serious snow in the suburbs and around the city it's insane. It's supposed to snow all through the night too and I might not have to go to work tomorrow and it'll be awesome CHRISTMAS MIRACLE YAAAAAY thank the lord.

I'm sorry to hear that Wals. Very sad. :'( I too had a crazy dream last night enoch. It was extra crazy in fact. I was in my house with my brother and he offered me to smoke "cigarettes" but he kept emphasizing them like it was marijuana or something and he went on this little speech about it filled a void in him that he couldn't find anywhere else except for a certain kind of sexual encounter with a woman.... It was obviously my subconscious trying to tell me something I already know, that I'm completely miserable and I'm missing some very important things in my life. Kind of cool how your brain can do stuff like that though.

It's also a bastion of evil for most people who think you can just throw a bunch of random crap in it and expect it to come out delicious. :'(

A lovely summary of all that is hideous about most cooking in America. I.e., opening 6 cans of prepared stuff, mixing, and warming it over counts as "cooking," and, despite it having enough sodium in it to make the Mississippi taste like the Dead Sea, people still call it the "vegetable" course. Thank you enoch. This is something my mom just can't understand and the sole basis for why I utterly despise the crock pot as well. Worst cooking invention ever conceived, if I ever met the mfer who made that crap I would shove a lye biscut into their mouth and then crush his/her windpipe with my bare hands and stare into their eyes as I strangle them until their soul leaves their body. Only then can justice be served. Edit: Also, American's who don' even think about maybe growing some veggies even though it's so easy and awesome. I'm going to eventually start my own garden but I mean seriously what a nation of gd a holes.

Wals you need to fly out to the states and go to a little place called Trader Joes. They got these australian ginger cookies that are amazingly delicious. Pure awesome. Not to mention they sell orange chicken that is super awesome and dried apricots.

I believe a taser would sufficiently immobilize a zombie but for how long I do not know. I believe the mechanics work to simply stun the body and then it's sort of a psychological effect becuase it hurts like bloody hell so prisoners and what not stop struggling. At least from what I've seen from the odd prison show that's how it works. A zombie on the other hand is simply blinded by rage and has his senses of pain deadened like the darkness of my soul so it would be quite ineffective unless you shocked him numerous times which I suppose could "fatigue" his muscles or something to that effect. Either way, even if it's a 1v1 zombie fight there are just way too many ways that are much more affective, like my idea to rig up a spear. Plunge it into the zombies chest and you can keep him at bay while he struggles and the blade tears up his insides until he bleeds to death. Simple yet probably extremely effective and moderately safe if you lack a firearm.

There's a large problem I see with "traditional" zombie infections and that's the crippled ability to cross geographic and quarantined boundaries to provide the ultimate zombie apocalypse. To me it seems like the infection would have to have some sort of "hibernation" period in which it doesn't show symptoms for weeks or even months but all the while it continues to spread so that quarantines are unable to discern who is infected and who is not, and even if they were able to quarantine it would certainly be too late since it would just have to reach a few people at an airport and then you have hundreds of thousands of people over the course of a few months who are infecting all their cities and states as well as different continents. It would also help that the infection could be released airborn but then it's kind of unfair becuase virtually everyone would get infected eventually and that just aint no fun becuase I want to weild a shotgun and machete and not be a zombie. :'(

A Bittersweet Life The story follows the character Sun-woo, a prized enforcer and hotel manager for his mob boss. In the begining of the film Sun is tasked with shadowing the boss's much younger girlfriend to see if she is cheating on him and if so to kill them both. Sun inevitably catches the girlfriend with another man and begins to beat him but seeing her so upset he decides to spare their lives since during his extremely brief time in her company he has become infatuated with her. He makes them promise to never see each other ever again and that the incident can never get out. This mistake is the catalyst for the rest of the movie and becomes the genesis of multiple lines of vengeance for many characters throughout. I do enjoy me some nice foreign films but usually I tend to stick with Japanese but this Korean film was no exception. It was a pretty good movie. The cinematography and music was quite nice and the plot and themes were good. To me the action was top notch, I really wish hollywood would look to Korean and Japanese movies to get even the slightest clue about how fight scenes should be shot. All in all very well put together film. Hell you can never go wrong with a good vengeance story amirite? There was one slightly major flaw in the film however that I find hard to look past and that was there was no real characters to care about except Sun-Woo. He was the only one who got any kind of vetting throughout and even then it was brief at most. I would have liked to see at the very least 2 characters, Sun-woo's friend and the girlfriend, as well as Sun get a more comprehensive insight into who they were. Other than that the ending was depressing but I suppose I can certainly relate to the character and that's kind of cool I suppose. I give A Bittersweet Life a 9.2583 out of 10.
