  1. I bet most won't. Still I gotta wonder if the Pandarens are such a good idea businesswise for Blizzard.
  2. Seriously, Pandas? Edit: Oh well, what do I care. I quit already and those stupid Pandarens will make sure I won't start ever again. Thanks Blizzard.
  3. Well deserved! Though what Dragon Age 2 does on the 3rd place beats me. Pretty much the most overrated crpg since Neverwinter Nights.
  4. All the news about Gaddafi had him attacking my dreams. He was watching Finland vs. some other nation football match dressed in Finnish colours. He even had his face painted with our colours and all I could think of during the dream was "Oh there's Gaddafi again supporting us, but where's Tarja Halonen".
  5. The thing is Steam is 10-15 euros more expensive than the tax free games from
  6. I'm imagining that I'm playing Arkham City. VPD failed me again. It's funny how the other store manages to send their games on time from
  7. Pretty good interview. I guess I'll have to check out that Nuka Break fan film and series.
  8. This is going to be an all time Codex favourite. Expect every frame of that video-interview to end as something entirely else. I'm still lobbying for the moderation to important here an all-favorite NMA/Codex smilie: the :hatersgonnahate: Chris Avellone. They have a Tim Cain one too now. I know, we can't introduce too much awesomess at once or the board might explode.

  10. So, Virginia is still on? Or do I confuse him? I don't think they would have cancelled Virginia since it's supposedly an original IP for digital release. Zane is either leading Virginia or New York (the animation project). We know that Josh is project director on one project (some source at RPGCodex claims it's North Carolina). Adam Brennecke was the project director on DS3 DLC and is now working as senior programmer on an unnannounced project.
  11. Dave Hoffman from Square Enix said this on Twitter four hours ago: "just got back from Dream Works Animation Studios. Saw a sneak peek screening of Puss in Boots. Two thumbs up on that movie!" Maybe related?
  12. Unless they release a fully indie game, I don't see any publisher giving them money to make a "proper" rpg.
  13. I guess it depends how fast people update their LinkedIn profiles. I think it was about 109 employees after the last layoffs. So it has definately gone up. But yeah few jobs have disappeared from there. From what I can remember at least the Senior Producer job has been taken off / filled.
  14. I would be playing Arkham City if only they would release the damn games on Tuesday here in Europe as well. I still don't see the reason for this, it's like they are asking all the impatient teens to pirate their games.
  15. Hobbit RPG? DC Superhero RPG? All this speculation drives me crazy. In the end, Obsidian is probably not involved in any of these anyways.... While I agree that it isn't likely, 'superhero from Warner's DC Comics' would potentially fit with a number of 'leading animation franchise' s quite well. It would fit it perfectly. If you look at success WB has had with Batman: Arkham Asylum and the upcoming Arkham City, it really wouldn't surprise me that they wanted to launch somewhat similar title with some other superhero of theirs. But while it would fit the clues, it's more than likely WB has one of their own internal teams working on such project.
  16. It's not that simple. I think Bethesda had problems with announcing the dates for FNV dlcs because it takes time for the publishers to get okay from both Sony and Microsoft. And they can't really move forward with anything until they can get that. Maybe Nathaniel or someone could explain this better....
  17. One can only use Metacritic as a source when it fits Voly's agenda. You should know this by now.
  18. My wild guess would be that they are waiting for Microsoft and Sony on this matter.
  19. Sweet. Edit: LinkedIn confirms. Tim Cain is now working as Senior programmer at Obsidian Entertainment.
  20. Well at least Legend/GT Interactive did something with the licence.
  21. Playing Cities In Motion. I just get stuck playing games like these and can't seem to stop for a week or so...
  22. It was quite good actually. And I think it had a quite big online community playing it as well.
  23. Finished Dead Island on co-op. The game lacked zombies. There really weren't that many "ooooooooooh ****, run" moments in the game.
  24. No, it'll be an RPG version of Sweet. I played that game a lot when I was a kid.
