Highly stylized, high profile role playing game.
It's definately better this way than announcing something like years before they are even ready to show us anything *cough* AP and Aliens *cough*. Anyways there's still 4 months left to announce stuff

Highly stylized, high profile role playing game.
Something's coming....like, at PAX Prime? Or the release date for Lonesome Road and the weapons dlc.

New Chris Avellone interview
Now if only we knew something about their projects (other than Lonesome Road).

Why not make a comedy game?
****loads of old adventure games for example. And the Sam & Max Episodes (and other Telltales titles) seem to be doing fine as well.

Why not make a comedy game?
If you really think that, you know nothing.

Josh Sawyer at GDC Europe 2011
Why is that? Paradox publishes a lot of niche titles without going free-to-play or mobile. You seem to believe that focus on tactical combat in an RPG is something gamers would begrudgingly accept only if it was a free/mobile game. Or is that what most publishers believe because "RPG" has become synonymous with cinematic "choose-your-adventure"? I would go as far as saying, Paradox only releases niche titles. You guys should talk to the Swedes and fill this "niche hole" in the market.

Nexus: The Jupiter Incident
Hmh, I wonder why I never bought this game. I remember enjoying the demo.
-
What you did today
I just witnessed HJK beat Schalke 04 2-0. Unbeliavable.

He didn't inform us about the two artists you hired. (Or I missed those posts)

Mass Effect 3
Dear god that "gameplay" video looked just awful. And Ray Muzuka really should stop promoting stuff, he looked and sounded really awkward on the stage.

Random video game news.
Yup, it is her.

Deus Ex 3
I'm not even sure if VPD had the augmented edition when I pre-ordered my Limited edition on sunday. Just noticed that there's even better version available for few euros more. Oh well...
-
Deus Ex 3
That's pretty low from Square-Enix. Just checked one Finnish online community and there's a bunch of people scrambling to cancel their pre-orders from the UK stores... I wonder how many won't even notice Square-Enix did this and will go ape**** when their game won't work.

Interview with Chris Avellone
I still refuse to believe they are actually working on that title. Must be something bigger/better known

Random video game news.
Nothing intresting. Really lackluster "gameplay" video of Mass Effect 3, bunch of people playing Old Republic (looks pretty outdated and clumsy). They announced some new Warhamme Online game and Street/Indoor Fifa.

Old Republic still doesn't impress me.

Interview with Chris Avellone
So I assume Sis was the fifth romance option? Or it could be cut character that Grey DeLisle (or something like that) was supposed to play.

Yay? I guess we might actually see some D&D games coming out "soon". Don't think Atari has published anything decent since NWN 2 expansions.

What you did today
True, I got plenty of games on my "wait until it's really cheap on steam" list
-
What you did today
Did you get any bonus out of pre-ordering it vs. getting post-release? Well Dead Island was dirty cheap, under 30 euros for PC so pretty much no point in waiting for any Steam sales. Deus Ex was some sort of Limited edition and cost about 36 euros. Other than that no bonusses. I don't buy used games, since no money from those sales go to the publishers&developers. And I still need to order Battlefield 3, Arkham City and maybe Dark Souls. Dammit. Space Marine, Rage and Skyrim can wait until they are really cheap.
-
What you did today
Went a bit crazy and pre-ordered Deux Ex: Human Revolution, NHL 12 and Dead Island.
-
DLC or expansions
Most likely, though officially I'm thinking they will announce it at Gamescom. Or whatever that German event is called.
-
What are you playing now?
No one should eat fish soup. It is known.
-
What are you playing now?
I hate you and everyone else who a year? later find out that Alpha Protocol is actually a great game. I wanted a damn sequel

Yes, clearly they all need to take the vacation at the same time, since that's how it's done in every business and society. With your facts/logic it would seem the whole Chinese society stops working for a month or so during the summer since the people need vacation. Or maybe that's how it's done in Austria... And yes, clearly the whole discussion between me and Nepenthe was just about our nerdish needs... and not to point out how the bad sales in July is explained easily with the fact that pretty much nothing is released in July and August. (I'm sorry I mentioned Bodycount, I didn't know it would cause you get PMS)
