  1. You didn't already have it? Okay, that's it. Show of hands, who does not already own this game? We aren't allowed to be friends.
  2. I finished Night of the Rabbit. I was afraid it was going to turn into Whispered World for a moment there, but they did well in the end. Onto I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream.
  3. And I've chosen http://www.amazon.com/SeaSonic-550-Watt-CrossFire-Certified-SSR-550RM/dp/B00918MEZG Thanks for everything.
  4. Thanks for everything. I'll check that link out when I get home and can look at what components I have.
  5. There's a massive distinction between a character with no history and a character with no relevant history. If it's not relevant, it doesn't need to be brought up. If it's relevant, it can happen during the course of the game, not before.
  6. Then don't kill his family until after I control him. If it happened before I controlled the character, then I have no investment in it.
  7. I prefer RPGs to look forward, not back. My PC's history prior to the time I played as it has no value to me. Only the things I choose with the character now matter. I have played and enjoyed enough games that were designed to the contrary that I'm not going to be upset about it. But if I'm given the opportunity to be picky, that's what I pick.
  8. Not committing to any game really. I play some Night of the Rabbit until my power supply gets noisy. Then I might play some Tales of Xillia. Mostly just waiting for my copy of Virtue's Last Reward to arrive.
  9. Was really hoping not to spend that much on a power supply. But I do need to start preparing for my next build. Guess I should count my connectors as well, just to be safe.
  10. I've never replaced a power supply before, so wanting to know if there's anything I should look out for. One of the fans in my current 700w supply starts making noise after a couple hours of operation. And it's actually been doing that for quite a bit over a year. Once a week or so it would start making noise and only this past week it has started doing it every single day. http://www.amazon.com/Coolmax-Dual-Fan-Power-Supply-CTI-700B/dp/B001E01DDS This is what I've had, would it be a good idea to just buy another? The first lasted for years.
  11. I have to find another before I can forge more.
  12. So wait, they removed the Airtight Flask from stores? Well that ruins the quests I have for a bunch of Kept stuff. Dumb move Capcom. Dragon's Dogma
  13. So what did you think of Altair's Chronicles, then? I'm going over my Wishlist and all I can think is "I probably wouldn't buy a single one of these at 1/4th the price." Does that mean my backlog is full?
  14. I skipped it because it looked like Diablo. I hate Diablo. Then I dated a girl who was into it. She changed my mind.
  15. Finished Fire Emblem: Awakening. Good game, but it's not going to have me caring much when the next title comes out. Played some Pokemon Y, as well, and that's not very engaging. I'm not hooked. Maybe I'll just start up Tales of Xillia and give that a shot now.
  16. According to what I was told as a youngster, I've got quite the family history. Various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, though I'd say the American with some native tracing back to an English indentured servant with a penchant for petty thievery is probably the dominant one. Mostly though, I just like to pretend I'm a robot over the internet. Beep boop.
  17. Without I initially chose to play without it because I wanted to save mid-battle. But then my units kept falling in battle and I was glad for it. I've actually restarted since then and am doing much better. I think I could handle having permadeath if I do another run.
  18. What do you mean "surprisingly"? I mean that I wasn't expecting to be up to midnight playing it on a regular basis. I like to stop playing games around 9.
  19. Fire Emblem: Awakening is surprisingly addictive. Sadly not as deep as I was hoping. I was kind of expecting Final Fantasy Tactics depth to the class system, but I got over it.
  20. If you can't discuss the topic without discussing each other, the thread may have to be closed. I don't like doing that, though. If you don't like a poster's posts, make use of the ignore feature.
  21. Nearing the end of Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies. I received Fire Emblem and Pokemon in the mail Friday, so I'm hoping to give them a try tonight. It's a solid Ace Attorney installment. Probably not the best, not the worst. If you're a fan, it's pretty much more of the same. Interesting new characters, good cases.
  22. It's not very good art, but sure. I don't know why everyone treats art like it's magic. There's a lot of crappy or abstract art out there. Doesn't stop it from being art.
  23. I don't quite understand why people target iOs for anything but puzzle games. Am I just so out of touch? A windows release would have me interested. Ossian did well with Mysteries of Westgate.
  24. The buying of things I don't know whether they have already or even want.
  25. Not playing, purchased. Found out two games wanted by my niece and nephew, so I had to spend 20 minutes trying to figure out a third game for Target's buy 2 get 1 offer. The free one would be for me, naturally, as buying games for them unprompted is unwise. Ended up settling on Tales of Xillia. Of all the games Target has in store, it's the one I don't have with the best chance of entertaining me.
