  1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantasy If wikipedia is not to your liking. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/fantasy Star Wars does not elaborate or explore science or technology enough to truly be considered Sci-Fi. KOTOR goes all out and does little else but explore the supernatural aspects of the setting. An MMO of it would be only cosmetically different from the fantasy MMOs. We'd still have everyone running around with swords, wizards casting spells, and all that nonsense. Only the castles would look grey and shiny and instead of flying the griffin to a mountain named Blackrock to fight an old god, we'll fly a ship named Griffin to an asteroid named Blex'ock to fight an ancient creature of the Dark Side. We do indeed require a Sci-Fi or otherwise non-fantasy MMO, however KotOR won't fit the bill. EVE does, but it has its share of problems. Perhaps because of it's non-traditional design.
  2. Or that there is a god and he hates hippies. I like to consider alternative explanations.
  3. Your handle is a euphamism for a fat butt.

  4. I don't believe so, but evil playthrough is where you get the Belt of Storm Giant Strength.
  5. Tale

    I bet you're happy 4chan is back.

  6. If I remember, I'll dig in the toolset tonight for that reference and see what I can find out.
  7. I swear, Obsidian included that helmet just to screw with us. "Everyone's going to want to wear it for the stats, but it's going to be ugly as sin! It'll be awesome."
  8. Youtube doesn't have porn.
  9. I finished Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer last night. Then I started up a new NWN2 game with a level 18 Wizard with the sole purpose of getting Elanee in the sack (I've never gotten the druids as allies, not even sure I can, but want to try). Then I'll go into Mask with the purpose of getting the companion I didn't in my first run as well as flirting with the other chicka.
  10. Steam doesn't register games to a computer, it registers them to an account. So, just log on to the account on the other computer.
  11. So, I ended up ordering it from HMV.com. Every now and then there's a game. A game I don't follow for even two moments. That I never show one iota of interest in and presume to be an overhyped piece of crud. And then, right when it's released, for no reason and based on little evidence, I must have it. Sometimes this works out to my benefit. STALKER, I actually laughed at the people excited about it, yet ended up loving it. FEAR, never saw a single thing interesting until the day I was desperate for a new shooter, yet I also love that. Sometimes this does not work out to my benefit. Fable, never was interested, after it was released I still wasn't interested, but one day I thought "what the hell." God, I hate Fable. Dear Witcher, please don't be a Fable.
  12. That's the official stance, yes. However: 1) Former founder and lead designer for Bungie, said they're different incarnations of the same character. 2) One is owned by Microsoft, one is owned by Bungie. And they're not even available on related platforms. At the very least, one could view the ending as an homage or allusion to Marathon.

  14. I'm actually going ahead and trying out game.co.uk. Anyone have cause to stop me? Edit: Well, there seems to be difficulty ordering through them. They keep saying to check my address or payment details and it's all correct. Edit2: I almost went ahead and signed up with HMV, but realized I'm really putting too much effort into this. I'll wait to hear more about it before I start searching all over the internet for an trustworthy importer.
  15. Ebay will probably have a UK release up before long. Otherwise:http://www.amazon.co.uk/ I tried Amazon.co.uk. They won't ship it to the US. And I just don't like to use eBay.
  16. I have an alibi. Texas is nowhere near California.
  17. So, what's a good way to import from the UK? What websites?
  18. How the hell do they come up with 1 BILLION dollars worth of damages? Every single home would have to average $666,666 in value. While I know San Diego is expensive I seriously doubt that number. Because it's not confined only to homes. Businesses, property (vehicles and non-developed land included), state property. And I think in their estimates of damages they're including costs for combating the blazes.

  20. Or just look up the dutch words for "options" and "languages."
  21. Sod off isn't exclusive to Britannia.
  22. I'd be surprised if WotC let Obsidian rewrite their cosmology. Since nobody else is bothering with spoiler tags, I won't either to say this, despite my best efforts, I wasn't able to bring Myrkul back. I wanted to be his friiiend. But no, he wanted to be a jerk, so I had to beat him up. Same thing. Obsidian probably isn't allowed to resurrect Myrkul anymore than they are allowed to tear down the wall. Or any more than you could have resurrected Bhaal in Baldur's Gate. I would have loved to have tried.
  23. I would never expect anything like how you describe a relationship in an RPG. That would be the most boring RPG of all time. One where your girlfriend complains that you spend too much time killing Orcs and not enough time listening to her complain about ridiculous crap. Yeah, I want to spend 6 hours doing that.
  24. Oh. Well... your mother!
