I disagree. It was very much focused that you had to be the TNO for the entire plotline to work. You're obviously missing a track here. The TNO could easily have been any race, had any hair color, had any starting class, had any starting feats. It still would have been the TNO. And none of this is limited by the design limitations you think existed in the 90s. At no point was his hair color or outfit so critical to the story that it would have required multi-DVDs to account for.

The text and story of PS:T was actually pretty neutral in regards to class or race with few exceptions. It wouldn't have mattered. In regards to The Witcher, you're playing a pre-set character. Geralt. You can't customize "your" character because it's not really your character. It's Andrzej Sapkowski's character. A character he created.

Charisma + 5? Pfft, I crafted a + 8 in the OC. As for the fires, I have a friend out there. If expansion 2 adds in 10 more levels it'll put you at a higher level than Elminster (y'know, the guy who actually got the attention of Ao, who won't even talk to his own priests). And Xpac 1 alone has sufficient events for gods to take notice. Anything that puts you in a position to have dealt with the other two of the Dead Three will certainly garner his attention. Hell, events with Myrkul alone could have gotten his eye on the PC. Throw in a plot involving the machinations of Cyric himself, and both Bane's eyes would certainly be cast upon ye.

As Sawyer might tell you, there's always Full Throttle. Maybe so, but that was incredibly short-lasting. And the game wasn't the longest or deepest either. The final truth is, games are incapable of showing mature, long lasting relationships. Where you constantly are with, or just lay down, have a nice conversation, or just sex with your partner. Fu**, i want to have a real in-game wife/husband. The game doesn't have to show a long lasting relationship to show a mature one.

KOTOR is Fantasy. Even moreso than Star Wars proper.

Have you tried activating the scrolls in their inventory? If they get damaged, even a little, they stop.

That seems to be the plot of the season, so far. To be honest, this season's first few episodes bored me to the point that I haven't bothered watching any further for the past 2-3 weeks. And I'm not sure if I should try catching back up or not.
