  1. The ending you can get if you devour Myrkul is more satisfying. Ein.
  2. 8/10, that's it, Bioware is doomed!
  3. I refuse to play a caster in NWN 1. You can't get me to do it.
  4. Oh yes, I rescued jerro and as was hinted to myself above he did stick about until I entered the city of the dead. he said this is where we part, however he said he would rejoin me later. thats the last I heard from him either in the game or the ending sequence. Did anyone get something of a ending with him rather then him just walking into the sunset? He shows up with a personal demon army if you choose to defend the gates, first.
  5. Yeah, Elanee is dead. And despite what I said before, it seems pretty strict about who is dead or not. Since he has Aldanon and Khelgar, I presume that either he didn't bother returning Jerro to life or that he told Jerro Neeshka betrayed them.
  6. She didn't spend the rest of her days in the academy. She did that for a while, then returned. Potentially after finding a cure for the spirit eater. I was in a similar situation (though my characters never married as he was evil, so spent his days causing terror), and I thought it said only that she went away "for a time." Also, I wasn't even aware you could choose to keep the curse. You could end it completely, rid it from just yourself but not end it, or if you devour Myrkul you could turn around devour it making yourself immensely powerful.
  7. How much are they? Because I've been looking for a couple of those at a reasonable price.
  8. Just finished the Crysis SP demo. It felt like a better balanced Far Cry, which is Far Cry's worse failing for me. However the whole trekking across a giant jungle island to shoot people from the bushes or from in my jeep thing isn't really my interest. It didn't excite me in the least. The AI in the demo also seemed easily abusable. Also, now in the first courtroom stage of the last case of Trials and Tribulations.
  9. Mysteries of Westgate is the only one that I know of. Though, some D&D games do fly under the radar. Dungeons and Dragons Tactics, for example.
  10. I'm on the last case of Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations. Even though I'm at the first investigation stage, I can already feel it's going to be as epic as rumored. Playing a Neverwinter Nights 2 module, something with Nestlehaven in the title. Should start back on the Witcher soon, I've been on a break the past few days. And am just finishing a download of the Crysis demo.
  11. Okay, why do we have people talking about playing multiplayer with Sand in a 360 thread when he says he doesn't have a 360? This is the source of confusion for me.
  12. Was anyone else miffed that she may have known about a faster and safer way out and didn't share it with the rest of the group, thereby failing to aid them in something that wiped out over half the party? Did my 6 points of influence mean nothing to her? I'm starting to think that Githzerai are quite an untrustworthy bunch, Da'kon wasn't exactly giving with his secret portal locations either . Someone told me that Githzerai had some sort of racial plane shift thing they could do. Could that be it?
  13. I have it as a scientific fact that your computer will indeed sleep around.

I, on the other hand, have quite the reputation for being devoted (if inattentive).

    ;)

  14. Good or bad? I went out and bought Hitch****'s Rope last night. Watched it today. Great movie.
  15. Girlfriends? Who needs 'em. Waste of money, I tells ya'! I think my friend Kyle put it best.

"My Nintendo will never leave me. Nintendo will never cheat on me with my best friend."

    Nuggets of wisdom.

  16. Did Sand end up finding room for a 360?
  17. This is both terrible pseudo-philosophy, thread necromancy, and quite wrong. You can easily have light without shadows, just use multiple light sources. Additionally, brighter light often results in dimmer shadows, but that is dependent upon environmental factors.
  18. Quite possibly. I'm only presenting what I remember being told. Not what I experienced. I could check, though!
  19. Will definitely have to give the demo a try.
  20. Between this and Assassin's Creed, I may get a 360 soon.
  21. Casavir did the whole "holding a door for everyone to run safely through then get subsequently crushed by said door" routine.
  22. The fates of your original companions varies depending on what you ask him, what you tell him, and what order you ask him. Some people actually had Neeshka at their wedding at the end. A lot of characters can survive if you simply don't ask about them, it seems. Khelgar and Jerro are the only ones assured to live. I think Qara is doomed to die, though. I think an example of asking in order is Grobnar/Construct. If you ask about Grobnar first, he sings a song as he escapes. If you ask about Construct first, Grobnar tries to shield Construct and dies. I think that's because if you ask about Grobnar first, the game isn't certain you even had Construct.
  23. I don't see how feats could do what you want. You'd probably need to shift them closer to an existing class. Give them some sneak attack or higher level spells.
  24. Do you mean that only a bad GM would make a bard player face a high level opponent? I mean only a bad GM would make an encounter without accounting for if the player can beat it. Because they both can only if the GM isn't an **** or horrible. WHAT CHALLENGE?! You haven't even spoken of a challenge other than some theorized "high level campaign." If it's not designed to be beaten by the class facing it, chances are that the class may not be able to beat it. Doesn't matter if it's a Fighter, Wizard, or a Bard. You throw a Fighter into a high-level challenge that consists of tons of traps, he's going to have a problem with it. If your Wizard has to fight in a Wild Magic area, he might have some troubles. Same as if you throw a Bard into a ring with a raging berserker, he may theoretically also have trouble. However, at the same time, he does have spells that if chosen appropriately can help him overcome it.
