  1. Looking forward to... uh... what haven't I purchased already that's not on a system I don't own. Hmm. Well, bugger all! The only games I'm looking forward to are games I own but haven't played yet. I guess it's time to save some money!
  2. http://forums.galciv2.com/?forumid=274&aid=167298 Like that? A number of people seem to have it. I haven't updated yet, myself. Sounds like there should be a fix to it, though. *shrug*
  3. I have it rather frequently in Bioshock.
  4. Ja. New expansion coming out in the next couple of months.
  5. The good seems to outweigh the bad from what I'm seeing. I'm hearing only good things about the game proper (bar the AI's supposed stupidity at times). And the bad things seem to be related to technical issues (textures issues, load times).
  6. I find the animations to be drastically better than NWN1. Spell effects are lacking in some regards. NWN1 Weird was fantastic. Magic Missle looks much nicer now, though.
  7. Yeah, if I'd written Mask, the 100 influence ending for Safiya would have featured you coming home one day to find her in bed with Khelgar. That's just how I role.
  8. Do you think designing a module around pissing those players off is a good idea? Y / N
  9. Reading the official forums, I find myself reinvigorated to make my module. I see a few posts from people who are just so desperately saddened by Bishop's plight and their inability to save and redeem the worthless idiot. This was a theme I wanted to touch on in my module. Here's the plan. You'd eventually come across an evil sadistic ****. He'd be forced on the group for either a token small time or he'd never be forced on the group. You could "redeem" him, make him turn away from his evil deeds. After a short period if you choose this path, he starts to be punished by his old vengeful and very angry evil god. A plan is presented to the player! What if you get him to accept a new good god to protect him from the old evil one? So, you enact the help of the local Paladin who reluctantly plays along. The Paladin puts in a good word with his church who takes the former evil guy in. A short time passes and the former evil guy is kicked out of the church on his butt for trying to defile some nuns, the Paladin is kicked out of his order for his association with the evil guy, and the evil guy is still tortured by his old god until either he goes on a killing spree and returns to his old god or dies from the torture.. The Paladin ends up becoming Chaotic Good and bitter for the rest of the game. The moral of that sidequest? He's evil, you moron. What did you think would happen? That he'd change his ways and gain newfound respect for life and people with a good pep talk?
  10. It has more than one. Only one on the screen at a time, I'll give you. But, Star Wars Galaxies taught me how to switch between different hotbars like that quickly and effectively. It's more than "fine," it's simply better.
  11. Speculation and "why do you think" questions don't qualify as an explanation for behavior. It could be that they believe everyone is out to get them (possibly psychotic), they may hear voices (psychotic), or maybe they just want attention or revenge (NOT psychotic).
  12. Yeah, like reorganize my hotbars: 1) Everytime I level. 2) Everytime I want to fight something different than I just fought. Because I'm not using that radial menu, gawdangit.
  13. Psychosis is a condition marked by false perceptions, what does that have to do with anything? Did the article say they had a history of hallucinations? What I meant was that you can't reform someone who throws themselves under a tram.
  14. It very well may! That sounds familiar.
  15. What I find really disturbing is that one through themself under a tram. Them being stopped, if they were even serious about it, means they might have turned around for a good life. But not that one.
  16. 1) 2)
  17. Myrkul's essence, not Cyric. If you devour him, you get a new ability, which is sort of a general avatar of destruction type thing. Everytime you hit an enemy in this form, you get some spirit energy. If you use that against Akachi, at some point you can devour him. This nets you immense power, Kelemvor kicks you out of the city, you wage a war against the gods, and eventually manage to kill a few before you are taken down yourself. Of course, I could be wrong on a few points, haven't seen the ending myself.
  18. Both Kelemvor and Cyric, along with Midnight who is the current Mystra, were part of an adventuring party during the Time of Troubles. At some point Cyric kills Kelemvor. Cyric and Midnight became Gods, and I don't recall what the fourth member of their party did. Kelemvor was hidden inside Cyric's sword, Godsbane (avatar of Mask). Cyric searched for Kelemvor's soul, could not find it, and broke his sword in frustration, releasing Kelemvor. Blah blah blah, something about Kelemvor's bravery against Cyric caused the people of the fugue plane (or whatever it was at the time that houses the dead) to want Kelemvor to rule over them instead of Cyric. I recently read a wikipedia entry on it and that's what I came away with. Am I right to presume that Kelemvor's replacing Cyric as the god of death and Bane's return are what heralded 3.5e? Or were these earlier, around 3e?
  19. Considering how many of these school shooters like to leave threats/messages/evidence all over, I'd be surprised if it was hard. They supposedly have a list of potential targets and a confession. I would expect them to have potentially more. Hell, they only have airsoft guns, though?
  20. Two can play this game. Obviously those authorities play video games.
  21. The ending you can get if you devour Myrkul is more satisfying. Ein.
  22. 8/10, that's it, Bioware is doomed!
  23. I refuse to play a caster in NWN 1. You can't get me to do it.
  24. Oh yes, I rescued jerro and as was hinted to myself above he did stick about until I entered the city of the dead. he said this is where we part, however he said he would rejoin me later. thats the last I heard from him either in the game or the ending sequence. Did anyone get something of a ending with him rather then him just walking into the sunset? He shows up with a personal demon army if you choose to defend the gates, first.
  25. Yeah, Elanee is dead. And despite what I said before, it seems pretty strict about who is dead or not. Since he has Aldanon and Khelgar, I presume that either he didn't bother returning Jerro to life or that he told Jerro Neeshka betrayed them.
