  1. I hear Gothic 4 is as bad as 3, if not worse. Divinity 2: The Dragon Knight Saga isn't really pulling me in, so I can't recommend it either. The Penny Arcade guys are advertising Eschalon: Book 2. And their advertisements are meant to be taken as recommendations. They didn't even advertise New Vegas. So while I can't recommend it, I haven't played it, but I'm nevertheless curious about it.
  2. It's pretty much impossible to tell what someone is going to buy or not if they're still using it as if it was purchased. Self reports are among the most ureliable reporting methods ever. What a person says and what they do are regularly at odds. Like smokers who think they could quit anytime they want to. You take away their FPS games for a week and they're going to eventually give in and buy one. Unless they can get it without paying for it.
  3. He never said Rex attacks people in hats, he just hates them. It's rats he attacks.
  4. I got the achievement for getting banned from all casinos before I got banned from Vikki and Vance. *shrug* Wait, maybe it's just for Strip casinos. That would explain it.
  5. You telling me you play airsoft with your pants on?
  6. Yeah, Gorth, what are you doing later?
  7. My sister's dog has now passed. They had him put to sleep. You will be missed, little buddy. A scary day with a happy ending one day and this **** the next.
  8. The Dark Magus 10% Strength, 33% Bloodlust, 48% Intelligence, 24% Spirit, 33% Vitality and 24% Agility! An evil and powerful magician, the Dark Magus may neglect to distinguish between friend and foe. A sorcerer that kills indiscriminantly (and oftenfor pleasure), the Dark Magus is certainly someone to be feared and avoided. Although the Dark Magi most often walk the path of good, there are a few who occasionally stray to the path of light. Utilizing their mastery of fire and dark magic for the side of good may seem unusual, but Dark Magi are absolutely not opposed to becoming staunch allies of the light. Although Dark Magi specialize in fire based magic, thay are also proficient in the other basic elements. However, their mastery over fire far exceeds that of any of the other spellcaster classes allowing them to manipulate the fire more skillfully and effortlessly. By increasing the intensity of their fire they can even create blue and white flames, and on top of that they can unleash the power of volcanoes by manipulating the lava within them. Congratulations you crazy magical sadist That can't be right...
  9. Yesterday, my sister's oldest dog was in pain. He's an old dog, practically blind, can't hold his bowels most of the time. He was howling in pain. They assumed the worst and took him to the vet. Turns out he just had a toothache, but was fine otherwise. After some antibiotic, he was full of energy. TODAY, they come home and it looks like he fell off the couch. A huge bruise on his neck and his neck bent out of place. Still alive, but can't really move. Emergency vet doesn't think he's going to get better. Absolutely ****ty luck.
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5v3aCp899F8...player_embedded And Gizmo... Why would you want Myth4 given Myth 3 was HORRIBLE? Well, then again, Myth 4 by Bungie that retcons Myth 3 out of existance would be awesome. Ahh, I love that man.
  11. I like guns that shoot through walls.
  12. Deployable bear traps? No, that looks more like bear trap unarmed weapon. If he's deploying it, he's doing it upside down. Which considering his hand is in it, is probably for the best. Why character is running around gambling with 8 luck trying to get banned from all casinos. wheeee One down.
  13. And talk about anything but Bioware.
  14. What if you meet the two
  15. Alright, very creepy.
  16. I'll agree with that.
  17. My female James Bond run was restarted last night. I lucked out and got a silencer for the varmint rifle.
  18. Finished Broken Steel. Ahh, mowing down baddies with a gatling laser. Good times. Now I'm afraid to do my next planned New Vegas run simply because it can't use gatling lasers very well.
  19. *runs off crying*
  20. Anyone who likes Temple of Doom is a terrible person. And probably a communist.
  21. And people think I'm weird.
  22. I'm mad that Wall-E isn't higher on the list than ESB. What a snub.
  23. Also, I never heard the adventures of Herbert "Daring" Dashwood when I first played the game on my 360. Was it a fluke? Faulty memory? Or was it patched/DLCed in?
  24. When discussing that it would occur during the same time period, Bilson said "There's only one apocalypse -- I couldn't very well have four different apocalypses, one for each rider." That seems to imply the franchise will focus on playing as horsemen.
  25. I'm not sure if you've played Morrowind, but I'd argue that while major destinations were easy enough to find because they were marked on your world map, smaller destinations were a pain. Navigating the Ashlands in the middle of a red sand storm while constantly being attacked by bird creatures is not fun. The first time I played, I would literally spend hours wandering around trying to find the right location because there are fifteen different crypts, tombs, caves, and ruins that might be described as being 'Southwest of the Ursulaka Camp,' and there aren't signs or land marks. I both loved and hated that aspect of the game. I would go, follow the directions, enter the cave and explore. I'd spend like half an hour to an hour never finding what I came for. Only for it to turn out it was on top of an unassuming crate at the dungeon entrance. Or that I'm in the wrong bloody dungeon because I made the left turn too late. I loved it because it's like I'm being tricked into exploring places I would never have visited anyway. I hated it because I'd never ever figure out I was lost until I start looking it up on the internet.
