I'm fighting the urge to buy Another World from GoG. I didn't know they had it!
Already the past two weeks I've bought season 1 and 2 of Babylon 5, Portal 2, Mortal Kombat, the Pendulo 4 pack, Gray Matter, and 999. Do I need another game?
I don't know what Obsidian is doing, but I've seen a few studios hire to do multiple projects, then have those multiples fall through, resulting in a surplus of talent at the studio with a scarcity of work.
It seems a number of these individuals were involved in New Vegas and DLC. Is some of the DLC being cancelled? I think it's too early for them to have actually completed it all. Maybe they have completed them enough to lay off some. *shrug*
The problem in either is overindulgence. I tend to find cutscenes favor indulgence over controllable sequences. They'll do cutscene because they think it's awesome and expect you to think it's awesome.
Played Runaway a bit last night. It reminds me a lot of the Broken Sword games, but with more insane moon logic. Though I guess that the "guy finds girl who is way out of his league that needs help, leads to adventure" trope is far broader than the two series.
I've got peanut butter in my inventory. I need to use peanut butter to attract ants. Do I use the peanut butter? Nooooo. I go put peanuts and butter under heat and use that instead.
I was just looking at The Next Big Thing. Steam has 4 Pendulo games in a pack with three Runaway games for a decent price.
I ended up getting Gray Matter with my $25 Amazon credit instead. And 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors.
Did you play any of the Runaway games? If so, what did you think of them?
Because they didn't use that particular segment in Episode 1 nor in the original Half-Life. And because that section sucks. It is not part of the working formula.
I'm not sure you know what I'm talking about.
I like it more than Half-Life 2 because it doesn't have any really stupid parts. I'm looking at you Sandtrap and the ooze equivalent. I was sick of picking up items to jump onto to traverse hazardous terrain by the second item of the first time I did it. Stop that ****, Valve.
Beat Portal 2 single player last night. 5.5 hours according to Steam. Steam doesn't seem to have caught all my achievements. No matter, I was planning a PC run of single player anyway.
Who's down for co-op tonight?
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun
The gels are providing far more interesting puzzles than I expected. That last one took me a while. Wish the lasers had been this good.
