Always interesting to hear things like that. Wonder why they didn't go all the way.

I considered Alan Wake to be a really crappy game when I first got it. It's definitely not worth the price they were originally asking. It was a very repetitive game. That said, when I bought it again on sale just to try out American Nightmare and see if my opinion changed, I liked it more. Because it was cheap. American Nightmare I can't even recommend cheap. It's only three levels long. Repeated like three times, just a little shorter each time.

Offical information?

Yay. Thanks. -
I hesitated to get Skyrim. It was tons better than Oblivion, so I'm comfortable with it.

I spent about two hours recovering my system after a hiccup in the power caused my machine to shut down while my anti-virus updated. Also, my WoW account runs out today. So I'll probably be playing Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen more.

That's accomplished through a pretty long quest chain? Quest chain isn't that long, but it is interesting. The challenge is in the tightly tuned final boss.

Got my green fire book in WoW. Now to convince myself to continue playing it.

I absolutely loved that game. If you love old school Final Fantasy style RPGs, it's a really good one. And the writing was actually far funnier than their comics have been in a while.

I'm getting bored of WoW, so I'm probably going to cancel my sub pretty soon here myself. I like the leveling experiences of the game, but hate the grinding. So it's good to hit up the expacs at some point to see what's new.

Would the lowest common multiple of 6 and 2 be 6?

I can't be joyed or aggravated by the news. I simply do not hold Star Wars with any degree of reverence. There's more junk with the Star Wars label on it than actual quality material at this point. And that's not even a particularly recent development.

Finished Bioshock Infinite. I really liked the game, just not sure the ending made sense. On to Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

Not yet, anyway. They will be adding more classes, which classes, I'm not sure. If I had to guess, I'd say an archer (likely ranger) would be next. The game is severely lacking an archer right now. I don't think I can be motivated to play until there's something like a Warlock or Chaos Sorcerer. Ooh, or Spellblade. Going with only the standard 4 seems very boring.

No Warlock?

I'm really enjoying Bioshock Infinite.

I just picked up Bioshock Infinite and Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen. So I might be taking a break from World of Warcraft. Who knows?! A game I'd love to analyze and the expansion to my game of the year last year. wheeeee

Twitter hacking is all the rage, it seems.

Still playing World of Warcraft again. I'm trying to dabble in Catherine on the side, but not really making time for it.

Fascinating isn't it? A game that has been critisized for being way too short can still offer a 100 hours playthrough. I noticed the other day that my playtrhough as about 120 hours. I had the most fun as a backstabby dagger person. Who accused it of being short? Most discussion I've seen has called it boring, generic, or forgettable. Maybe that's my own bias, as it simply got repetitive for me and lost motivation. I love the concepts it has, but... just ran out of steam after about 30 hours. That game gets really repetitive after a few hours, and the main storyline is laughably bad. I call it Oblivion in Space. Is it anything like the demo? The one thing I remember is that you're fighting level 1 enemies, then the second you hit level 2, everything gets a massive upgrade and becomes harder. And that's why I never played more than the demo.

Hit level 90 in Mists of Pandaria. So I'm trying out the Domination point quests. Which is, as far as I'm concerned, the real highlight of the expansion.
-
Mists of Pandaria Quests aren't very interesting or motivating most of the time. I hear good things about the post-90 quest content, however.

Most PC games still supported XP. Aside from Just Cause 2, there really weren't any must haves until about late last year.
-
May I ask why? Didn't want to spend money on an operating system that had no tangible benefits until now. And at this point, I pretty much have to buy a whole new PC to go with it. So there's that.

I'm still on XP.

My computer won't run it and I'm not sure if I'm ready to betray the tradition and get it for console.
