  1. Welcome to the internet
  2. The violence is amusing because it cannot harm you. Purchase a Bengal tiger and re-run the exercise. You will realise that video games have de-sensitized you to nothing.
  3. This thread is going down a dark path isn't it? Thank you everyone for the replies by the way.
  4. I realise this thread was intended as a joke but I actually could use some advice for something not earth shatteringly important. Does anyone have any tips or mental exercises that would help me focus on something mundane over long stretches of time, say an entire day even while there are distractions going on around me?
  5. It's like the Wheel of Time, it's good but it takes so long!
  6. Perhaps you're right.
  7. Can't you just paint the letters on yourself?
  8. Not that Atari aren't colossal jackasses for screwing over Ossian, twice, but I thought it was their legal problems over the D&D licence that stopped any more expansions, adventure packs or sequels being produced?
  9. Perhaps this is the first step towards Bloodbowl becoming an official sport.
  10. Now I can't stop thinking of David Gaider as a boss you need to grind down in order to get a dialog cutscene and a journal update.
  11. If you haven't played the Mysteries of Westgate module from Ossian it's well worth the money. There are also some good fan made ones from NWNvault, out of the ones I've played I'd recommend Harp & Chysanthemum and the Dark Waters series by Adam Miller (Who made the excellent Dreamcatcher series for the original NWN which was better than the Bioware campaigns imho). I agree with you that it's a shame there were no more expansion btw. The engine is great now with all the patches and most people probably have a PC that can run the game at max settings (kudos to the art team btw), I'd have been happy to keep buying adventure packs for it.
  12. I played through NWN2 and MotB as a cleric/mage, that was pretty fun and it was easy to shake up the battleplans with so many spells to pick and chose from.
  13. You reached 183 points, so you achieved position 110557 of 383346 on the ranking list You type 288 characters per minute You have 51 correct words and you have 3 wrong words Thanks for the test, I'm sure it will be a big help toward improving
  14. I can't seem to get the hang of touch typing, I always hit the key to the right of the one I intended to press.
  15. Mass Effect probably has a lot more dialog overall though, I know that AP had many variables but the volume of NPCs, news reports, companions ect must have added up to a fearsome amount of lines for both ME games.
  16. I know you were joking but I think that could actually be used as an effective gameplay mechanic.
  17. Today I will mostly be shielding myself from the sun's deadly rays. Also bought the AvP dlc after an aliens movie marathon. It turns out that, at least at lunch time, nobody in the world is playing either set of dlc maps. Can I get a good investment high-five?
  18. I thought someone shot IW because it stole his prized race horse?
  19. I bet Funcroc could find you, if he hasn't already I mean.
  20. Mysteries of Westgate, the premium module by Ossian Studios is also really good.
  21. Sigh, too slow replying again. Recruitment scammers are generally after things like identity fraud or money laundering through your salery in case you wondered.
  22. Homecoming has a different style to it's story telling but there's certainly horror in there. I think part of the problem is that The Collective were making a sequel to someone else' series, so they had to include enough iconic stuff so that people wouldn't accuse them of cashing in on a brand name. How many times can we see a nurse or a straightjacket and be scared? Eye of the beholder and all that but I'd argue that it was at the very least better than The Room. There was a lack of tech support for people who bought the PC version, so if you were one of the unlucky ones who suffered from the graphical bugs, or not being able to launch the game in the first place then you'd essentially thrown your money away. The game itself was good when it was working though, in my opinion.
  23. I bought UFO: Extraterrestrials but I dare not repeat the spending frenzy that occured during the xmas sales. Looks like you picked up some nice titles though, I own Homecoming and it's my favourite of the series after SH2.
  24. At least that experience will give you valuable insight if you ever make a vampire game.
