  1. Lightside powers were poor compared to darkside. Consider stun and fear. They caused the same effect yet when you look at force point cost stun=20, fear=10. Level 2 fear affected a group of enemies but you had to wait untill level 3 stun to do that. Also level 3 fear was avalable at level 12. level 3 stun at level 15. Lightside was messed.
  2. Yeah a holocron would be interesting........maybe the one you take from Lashow and gave to Master Uthar. He said it would be powerfull.
  3. Perhaps we'll be taught by a Jedi ghost on the ruins of the jedi academy.
  4. That belt was good. Both me and Malak were using lightning on each other but he was doing no damage at all, you'd think he'd realise that and switch to lightsabers though
  5. It has been revealed that force crush will not be available by the character untill they are instructed by a npc. This idea of learning powers adds more depth rather than just selecting any power at level-up. This begs the question- who will teach you these powers? Force crush. It makes sense that a sith (living or dead) will instruct you on the use of this dark power, probably on Korriban. This power will also probably be available only to darksiders (again leaving lightsider with no good offensive powers) Battle meditation Since we know that battle-meditation is an extremely rare power mastered by very few i think that it makes sense that you can only be instructed by one who already knows that power. This means that perhaps Bastilla could make an apperance to pass on her knowledge. She would teach both light and darksiders depending on her alignment from KOTOR. Thoughts anyone?
  6. Thats a good idea. its usually fps games that have a kill counter but all games should have one.
  7. His show looks good, conning an entire town into working on a fake tv show. :D Whats his Ketchup saying?
  8. It would have been okay if the sith fighters hadn't used the exact same attack mode every time. you knew to look left, then right then forward to shoot them down.
  9. Good thing its optional. You got fed up with having to do the same fight over and over and over and over and over etc...........
  10. Kinda related- does anyone know why a selkath was featured so prominantly on the box of KOTOR? They weren't that important to the story.
  11. Be warned when using search engines. Some of the info is made up by fans and some contradicts other sources.
  12. In KOTOR when you had many lightsabers they would all be listed as 'lightsaber' You had to use certain colours to identify different ones. Now what would be usefull is if you had space to add names to the sabers that would show up on the item menu. Even if its just 3 letters you could have CTS- critical strike BD- blaster deflection NU- Normal use So for example if you set up a saber with crystals for a critical strike you would instantly know which saber it was, rather than having to equip each saber to find out its properties.
  13. I don't think it was mentioned. The line was: "Don't try to frighten us with your sorcerers ways Lord Vader." Also Palpatines name was never mentioned in the original trilogy. Nor was his sith name. Lucas just added these things in later.
  14. We should get more info when Tyrells PMC interview gets released. Thats suppost to be in a few weeks.
  15. Also I dont think that the term 'sith' was ever used in the original trilogy. Vader was always refered to as the 'evil lord'. Also the original trilogy didn't make it clear that 'Darth' was a sith title, it just seemed that 'Darth' was Vaders first name. Now the new trilogy has Darth Sidious, Maul, Tyrannus to clear this up. Did this mean that Lucas made these things up after the original trilogy was made?
  16. Thanks for the info. I thought I saw an IG-88 smashed up on Cloud city. Its good how they can pick up little things in the movies and expand on them.
  17. I assume this was in a novel. Was that before episode 6? How did he get onto the deathstar? How did the empire get him out and regain control? Or was he still there during episode 6?
  18. Yeah I've seen at least 3 of them so far. Thats what you get when there's no new info..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They released the six prestige classes already: Jedi Master, Jedi Watchman, and Jedi Weapons Master. Then Sith Lord, Sith Marauder and Sith Assassin. They had a little info about each but I'm too lazy to look for it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know about the 6 prestige classes. I meant I'd seen 3 topics talking about them which have been started up. There's a lot of repeat threads going around at the moment.
  19. IG-88 is a bounty hunter right. What would a droid do with credits? He doesn't need food or a luxurious home, he'd have no use for slave girls. What does he do with his money? Jango at least had a son to spend his money on.
  20. Whenever you threatened the people in the lodge on Tatooene demanding money from them they just gave you 10 credits to get rid of you, like you would a begger. They didn't exactly fear you did they.
  21. You can use removable ones to try out what they'd look like. Only problem is they're quite hard to get off....
  22. Why is the energiser bunny winning this poll? Are people that scared of him, or are they messing around? Then again Yoda kinda looks like an energiser bunny with those ears........
  23. Yeah I've seen at least 3 of them so far. Thats what you get when there's no new info.....
  24. HK= Hunter Killer what does IG stand for? The HK designation suggests he'd be better in a fight.
  25. How about a 'general Grevious' type sith who wields six lightsabers at once? That would be cool but very hard to programme and animate (not to mention defeat!) to get into a game.
